  • I saw an interesting observation during returns last night that there was a trend of more rural districts keeping incumbents while those closer to cities flipped to Trunp-endorsed candidates. I'd love it if these redhats get whomped by Dems in the fall,

  • Remember that republican could stop him at any time. This isn't about Trump anymore - he isn't running for re-election so disapproval has no direct effect. The only way we have in our legal framework to stop an insane authoritarian in the white house is for Congress to stop him. Their abdication of duty need to be laid at the feet of every R in office

  • Republicans hoped to flip this because harris won by a hairs breadth, but Greene is winning by 22? A +22 point Dem over performance would be a massive landslide - maybe enough to override vetoes

  • About 60% of conservatives don't want it and they've been able to stop progress since Lieberman killed the public option in Obamacare. There's also the issue that while 90% of more liberal Americans want some form of federal assistance, pharma and health insurance lobbies Dem representatives very hard.

  • Probably lots of reasons. At least one of which is that too many don't want to pay for services for people who "don't deserve it".Another is a religion-based idea that helping people is bad for them because they won't work without 'motivation'

  • Realistically, I'd probably pass out during launch. 50-50 if I freak out about it afterwards

  • The thing that is our fault is that we haven't fixed things yet

  • I've seen these before and wish they'd include itemized receipts. In Oregon, Maxine Dexter got 2 million? Bynum got 1.4? What are the breakdowns?

  • You'll always have the cake scene

  • Oof, well that locks it for Platner

  • And that same SS didn't insist on metal detectors at the hotel? Or fully vet all the people staying at the hotel?

  • There's a middle ground: NSA/Palantir identify a nearly harmless threat that a dude is googling what hotel it's at and buys a 22 handgun with no firearm experience. If you're Trump, do you arrest him at the airport or let him make a scene?

  • Is it bad that I'm just completely uninterested in the fact that there was a gunman at the dinner? It just doesn't even register as meaningful

  • Imagine if jones had lost the AG election, this would be over without appeal

  • Wouldn't those companies track us down and pass the refund on to us??

  • Good luck VA! (I'm guessing the ayes win by 6)

  • I always thought frog and toad were pretty idle-rich-coded. I approve of their glow up to anarchosocialists

  • Shows the battery packs can last - that's something. I remember when the Boston dynamics bots needed to be wired

  • I saw $6 for diesel by the freeway. I paid $4.6 at Costco. Weather is getting nice, I may bike the 25 miles to work next week
