Lived here most of my life, there is no like about it. Everybody can be at the mercy of the weather and if you can help somebody you do. I've had strangers help me twice with shovels, sand in their car, pushing etc. You would have to be a massive dickhead for people to not help you, and a despicable kind of human to be heckled for it.
Plugging freetaxusa, I've used it for ~4 years. Only cost is ~15 for state taxes. If you used the free file option chances are freetaxusa won't have any issues with your taxes
I believe a Congress women is not being sworn in since she said she would vote to release the files and the speaker of the house is blocking that. Without swearing in she is effectively unable to officially partake in votes.
Minneapolis is okay for public transportation. The light rails are great, but bus travel falls way off only coming every 15-35 minutes depending on the route. The 35 minutes for a bus makes reliability very very hard, even when you plan around it so taking it to work wouldn't be feasible without planning to get to work 0-30 minutes early
He got caught, it invites more attention on them. If I was trying to hide smoking weed from my parents and my best friend got caught smoking weed, I wouldnt be too thrilled with them either.
Good luck on the thesis and I hope my data points can assist your research! I'm sure the community would love to see your finished thesis when it is done
That's a bit of a gross oversimplification. Overseas or foreign product? Sure tariffs apply 100%.
But what if the modified corn gloop is processed with a machine from Germany? And quality inspected with a sampling device from Canada? And the cameras used to inspect the packaging come from Japan? And the computers to power the logistics operations come from Taiwan, Korea and China?
Sure the corn gloop isnt taxed via tariff, but every single part of its manufacturing just got 20-120% more expensive (and supply chains got that much less predictable). Most businesses would go under if they tried to eat that cost.
The answer? Sweeping tariffs mean sweeping price increases. The list of which prices won't go up will be infinitely smaller.
Realistically you don't get to react at that speed. Best you can do is slow down and hope.. Anything more than small adjustment of the steering wheel and you're no longer on the road. If I crashed at even half that speed I would probably wish I was dead because it's going to be a very long time if ever I function correctly again.
There's another planned strike on the 30th. We're not done yet.
