  • Doesnt look very active, but not dead either with the last commit being 2 months ago. Hope it doesnt go unmaintained, love the app and really helped me transition from reddit.

  • Maybe, but a) polievre is much much worst b) do that outside of parlement. We need to keep that place somewhere to debate policies, not personnal character. Insults are not allowed there for a reason and a basic respect should be required.

  • So I am a son of divorced parents that are now good friends. I do think they are models in term of how they managed their divorce, so i'll share how it went from my point of view.

    At first, they were not seeing each others as friends would. Not saying that they did not consider the other as a friend, but I think, like you said, it was beneficial for both to allow them to move on. They would still have discussions regularly about us, the kids. Whatever they did we were always the first concern and they always tried to be a team even if they were not "together". I think that was the most important thing, for any important decision concerning us they would discuss together before and make sure they agreed on it.

    After a while, they both entered new relationships and we started doing activities everyone together once in a while. Now my " 4 parents" are good friends, we went to trips together, we have dinners together...

    I think taking a "pause" just after getting out of the relationship is a good idea, but not a hard pause, the children always come first and you need to still be able to work together for them.

  • Interesting, i might give it a try when i finish setting up my new servers, havent been satisfied with other picture solutions, usually feels like they're doing too much haha. I just want simple and fast, so this might be it.

  • Never happened to me, but technically your account can get banned using Aurora since it's against the TOS. Also i mostly use aurora for privacy, so an different account only to download apps is a good idea. (Ideally you should even use the anonymous feature, but i had some stability problems with that so i switched to a throwaway account)

  • I think the carbon tax opposition is mostly a communication problem, because as you said most people actually receive money from this. It's just sad to think it might disapperar after the next elections, because i feel like it is the one policy we have that actually works.

  • Music. Probably singing and acoustic guitar. I really like singing, even if I'm really bad at it, and I like getting lost in music. Yes I can listen to some music, but I feel like doing it yourself gives it something more. Someday I'll get classes haha, I need more hours in my day

  • I mean... I agree the vast majority of the time car problems are not dangerous. But at the same time I saw a car randomly catch on fire while it was still moving soooo yeah. (for info the guy got out just in time and was perfectly fine)

  • That's such a cool idea! I don't have kids but if I someday do I'll probably steel your idea. I feel like the digital era makes it "to much" for kids, and having a limited, physical library was a better experience overall.
