  • I recommend Ecosia over DuckDuckGo. DDG is American and uses bing whereas Ecosia is European and although it uses bing, they are developing an independent indexer.

  • Is there a recommended way to contribute to OpenStreetMaps? There's so much stuff in Vancouver that could use updates, but I'm not sure where to start

  • I recommend starting with StreetComplete. It's a lot of fun.

    For desktop, start with the standard ID editor which is user friendly.

  • Should we be mapping paved shoulders for cyclists?

  • I love to see other mappers of bike infrastructure in Ontario. There's an active mapper in Kitchener-Waterloo but other than that, it sometimes feels like I'm the only one.

    Now if only we could get more Panoramax mappers in Ontario...
