  • I set mine to go to 85% and then pass through charge. A heavy use day and I'll go from 85 in the morning to like 25% at night.

    Red magic claims 80w wireless charging, but I haven't seen anything that will do over 40w, and that sounded like a spaceship to keep it cool. Lol.

  • Yes, I know it will help prevent it. I've seen it happen in real time. You have time to think if it sounds suspicious after you get off a phone. You have time to decide to call your bank and ask. A lot of times scammers will pretend it's to help a family member in trouble and they need the money immediately, but now the person has time to call others in the family and discover it was all a lie.

    You obviously don't know how easy it is to pressure people in the moment, and how much harder it is to do after they aren't under an instant time constraint. Hell, I used to work in sales and I've done it. People do illogical things when they're caught up in the moment. I know 100% this will prevent some people from being scammed.

  • There's a middle ground between complete disregard and complete lockdown. If you've got a better solution to scammers that isn't going to drain your battery, invade your privacy, or hog up resources, I'm all ears. Grow up a little and maybe stop being so "me" centric.

  • Maybe lower cycle life. I've had my RM 11 pro for like 5 months and accubattery hasn't been charting me a very big decline yet. Of course, since it started at 7,500mah, it can lose a lot of capacity before it drops down to the 5,000mah range most phones new come with. I'll have the same issue as with Samsung flagships, though. Can't buy a new replacement OEM battery to save my life.

  • Here I've had my 1TB 24GB red magic 11 pro with silicon carbon battery in the US for like 5 months now. Water cooled (gimmicky), air cooled (legit), and better performance with a bigger battery than anything Samsung will put out this year. $1000 and came with an 80watt charging block.

  • I still say fuck them and push back and that total control is there end goal.

    However. I agree with what they're putting in place at this time. It's a one time 24 hour hold before you can install apks from unknown places.

    Unfortunately, a lot of people are pieces of shit, and I know for pretty much a fact that making this move will prevent old people from getting scammed. Especially for more targeted attacks where you can use ai to fake one of their relatives voices. It pumps a brake on scammers getting people to grant access while under a panic.

    So if you're tech savvy, you'll just have to wait an extra 24 hours before you can start side loading after a phone reset or new phone purchase. Not a big deal if it keeps my pops from having his bank account drained. The guy got in a panic when his Facebook billiards game lost his score data. The guy would have left his phone with someone for a week if they told him they could have gotten it back.

    Military?

    Road repairs?

    Education?

    How is it decided that someone has too

    much, and what do you do with them?

    Are you going to have enough people becoming skilled nurses and doctors if they aren't compensated for it, or are they allowed more stuff than you?

    What are the numbers for the people in the country, percentage wise that don't want to be in an anarchist society? What happens if they start selling drugs and cutting people in and more people start to enjoy getting to have more stuff than others? They start buying votes with favors?

    Who is going to be the decision makers of any large scale projects that need done? Are you going to have society vote on how to build a sewage system, or is it going to be one person who has designed them before making the decisions and being in charge?

    What happens when China or Russia or Canada or whoever else just come over and invade? Gonna barter in a military by trading for corn?

    A handful of very, very small places. I clicked one of the links (Rojava) and it said they weren't even anarchists. It was a society based around democratic confederalism.

    You could make anarchy work when there like 500 people and you walk the ones who don't play nice 5 miles down the goat path and "kick them out" and you're on 500 acres of land y'all own from a real country that you're a part of. Using money. It's stupid and naive to think it can be done on a country wide scale, or anything remotely close to it in this day and age.
