She/Her pronouns only please.

The same CounselingTechie from Solarpunk.moe.

I like to garden and try to find ways to bring joy and hope into my world.

  • I may now have more reason to look at Ubuntu Touch again.

  • That you can ignore it and it'll go away.

  • Ahh then, I see your thoughts. Well it depends on what your area needs. I personally would not mind seeing them converted into akin to flea markets or such as an easy one.

  • Hmm, I guess I was thinking that when I was younger and we had flea markets during the weekends in large parking lots that you could shut down a parking lot for a weekend with the shade of the solar panels.

  • I would rather see them repurposed than simply dedicate the amount of energy to destruction, personally.

But that is just how my brain works. I admit I am not the best Solarpunk.

  • I won't lie, my thought is, can't we just have both?

There has been research into the benefits of solar panels over farmland, and also are benefits of solar panels over parking lots.

Call me an insane idealist, I would love the idea of implementing over both.

  • Useful useful! I admit I early on bought saddlebags and have a backpack I'll take when I go grocery shopping on my bike, when I had a grocery store at least.

  • I am not too surprised about Ditto being present due to the success of Pokopia, but I am curious how they plan to implement this little one.

  • Honestly, someone once told me "f★★★ 'em. They're a bunch of p★★★ scared of you living but too chickens★★★ to kill you themselves." And that made me really stop and think for a time. My spite for a time became my motivation.

  • and I'm convinced. I was just jumping on to look for a BIFL pencil.

  • This is sadly my answer somedays too. I do what I can, but accept that there is much I can't because of the Corporations and Government. If it means I use my horno to cook once a week, or even twice a week? Then so be it.

  • Sadly not surprising. Years ago we switched to glass and never looked back.

  • Sadly not wrong. A normal person has to suffer.

  • I appreciate that I can tell this was a joke, but I do not appreciate how I am now coughing from how much I was laughing.

  • I always find myself sitting here wanting to just say "So what" to these people when they say "We're suing you!" over such ridiculous things.

A lawsuit isn't a magical banishment incantation. It is not a written contract with an eldritch entity to unmake a place. A lawsuit is nothing.

  • Sailboat. But I also want to become liveaboard someday.

  • The back is metal actually! It had locking doors which could access the various jewelry in it, I did not end up using it, which is a shame as it is so cool!

And yeah that would be such a good idea!

A person was throwing away a jewelry display case because the top broke. I decided to repurpose it into a cold frame for the winter

  • The principle is similar to the Kotatsu, Korsi, or Brasero then, makes sense. I could see the way of improvements specific to the household's preference.

  • Funnily enough, even in the later ages the Elves still do that. They will strip an elf of their magic and send them into the Underdark to become food to the Drow.
