It was a meme that originated from this copypasta, although it's apparently unclear where it came from:

This could be interpreted as belittling the efforts and courage of those who do acknowledge themselves, like "oh if you're a woman then I'm a fucking attack helicopter" or something like that. I've never seen it as anything but a meme.
