  • For users in the US, how much has TikTok content changed after a US consortium took over control?

  • this is purely anecdotal but the change has been pretty significant for me. I used to get a mix of political, educational, and funny content. Recently it's been mostly funny and "satisfying" (brainrot-type stuff). Almost zero politics.

    I just paused writing and scrolled for 15 minutes. Only 2 political posts, one from Al Jazeera and another from Zeteo. Nothing from the more relatable regular people creators I used to see all the time.
