  • I was gifted a thermal insulated coffee mug with built-in battery to keep hot. Connects to phone via Bluetooth. Got warnings that the mug would be able to track all 50+ Bluetooth MAC IDs that are in range (I’m in an apt building). That mug will never get turned on or used

  • Books. This year I’ve caught up with harry Dresden and Carl & doughnut. Piranesi was great. A solid recommend. Sanderson’s Tailored Realities was a nice collection of snapshots into different parts of his universe

  • For2026, Just about finished with the latest dungeon crawler Carl. Much fun, as usual. Before that, I just finished Brandon Sanderson‘s tailored realities, which also, fantastic for a collection of short stories. Ended 2025 with David Brin’s The Postman. I’m going to read it again, but there’s so much there, that story needs its own thread
