  • I don't know how old you are, but there were a lot of things that were tolerated in the past, and possibly found humorous in a dark humor kind of way. I remember many jokes from the 70s and 80s that involved profoundly shocking racism, paedophilia and disability-mocking, that, while off-color, you could conceivably tell to people in a bar and draw smiles. A lot of those jokes are impossible to tell today because they rightfully get you lynched or arrested.

In that light, I'm 100% convinced that Trump was fucking underage girls in the 80s and it was a-okay as long as they weren't too far from 18. While there was a legal age back then, in practice, it was more shades of inappropriate that people like Trump and his best pal Epstein tried to stay in the lighter hues of.

  • Oh yeah, this is not new for sure. The idiocracy has been in the making for decades.

  • He found an exploit in a lock and documented it on video.

It's an honest-to-goodness, pre-covertinstruments-dot-com-stylee LPL video that talks about locks for the sake of locks. He didn't even mention that he sells the Lishi tool he used! Can you believe it? Just like in the old days.

  • He sure didn't come up with that. I remember hearing that in the 80s at least.

  • Trump is a mediocre minor reality TV star who appeals to mediocre people. He only uses basic words from a limited subset of the dictionary because that's what his audience is working with. And he himself isn't very sophisticated either, so it's not like he has to pretend. That's what makes it so appealing to the magats: he's one of them.

Trump and his followers would be a side phenomenon in any other country. The problem in the US is, lack of education and religious nonsense are becoming the norm again, so Trump's brand of populist mediocrity gained critical traction.

  • Whoever said religious people had their priorities in order?

  • Oh wow! A LPL video with actual meat on the bone that's not just a pretext to plug his store. It's been a few years...

  • The only CLI interaction I have with Github - the only interaction at all in fact, apart from when I create a new repo - is through Git. If you run the Github CLI, you're asking for this kind of shit.

Reminder: Github is Microsoft. And Microsoft is not your friend. In case you've been living under the world's largest rock since 2018, when Github officially became adversarial and dangerous for your privacy.

Well, there is an argument that when the job market is tough, you take any job you can get.

But you know what? I think I'd rather be unemployed than land a job at Facebook - the opportunity of which would never present itself to me mind you, as I would never debase myself applying in the first place.

If you can't find faults in Christianity as a Christian, you're doing it wrong.
