Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.

I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.

ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.)

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • I suppose it's nice to hear that there are a handful of legit progressives out there, but if we ever manage to get a living wage passed in this country, I hope it's tied to inflation so the capitalists can't so easily abuse it and gouge prices.

  • I love the spirit.

    Bummer that it didn't work.

  • Probably Mint

Mint is very similar to Windows both aesthetically and functionally, and is very easy to install and use. (Mint user here.)

  • The examples I've read about so far, from LLM's being used to handle patient records to being used to take notes during patient visits, just seem particularly ripe for serious fuckups considering we know how often generative AI simply makes mistakes.

Not that it matters. It isn't meant to be good. It's meant to be bought.

  • Barf.

  • I actually made a video about this a few months ago: activities one can do on bad depression days when you don't have any energy to do anything.

For the TLDW crowd, though, here's the list:

    • Sewing (My top task on bad depression days, conquering my sewing pile.)
    • Adult Coloring Books (Or Art)
    • Bird Watching / Feeding
    • Watch Stupid Movies (My go-tos are Rampage and Ocean's 8)
    • Food Prep
    • Delete Old Stuff Off Your Phone (This one may only be suitable for those of us with anhedonia.)
    • Do Your Basic Computer Maintenance

All of these things take minimal energy and keep the brain engaged without making you overly emotional.

  • Can confirm. That is 100% natural, god-given talent right there.

  • Talk about shitty luck.

  • Oh what mischievous fun.

  • Agreed.

There's a reason why you never hear about the Battle of Blair Mountain or Haymarket Square. It's why your education focuses on MLK instead of Malcolm X, and why no school child has ever heard of Marsha P. Johnson.

Throwing bricks helps move progress along, but no one will teach that to you because the people in power don't want you to be thinking about kicking their asses. Hell, Luigi probably saved thousands of lives by scaring health care companies into looking past the profit motive for a few days and approving claims.

  • I'm older and I understand that my optimism for the world, our species, and my assumption that people are basically good were all total bullshit.

  • The pantheon was surely pleased to receive another furry little goddess. <3 I'm sorry for your loss.

  • True.

Also predicted in September 2024 that she would fail and they'd blame the Greens. And I was right.

  • Because they didn't take five seconds and look at my profile.

  • Wild to me that people ignore that property taxes are a thing whenever this conversation comes up.

It's easy to tax stock. Just requires an assessment, and you get one every day.

  • Goddamn, he's so insecure.

  • Fuck yes.

  • Hell yeah.

We have a dedicated lane for our streetcar line here in KC and it is glorious.

Powered in the same way that my digestive tract is powered after eating out on a Taco Tuesday.
