  • It is Sunday, the Lord hath commanded me to rest and I shall obey. I'm not a Christian, but who am I to argue when someone says I should do nothing today?

  • My brother in Christ they fucking voted for him

  • Fine, just bring me their inedible bones, they can keep the rest

  • Do you not realize that "consent" is a foreign concept to conservatives?

  • AI is rapidly eroding any joy or satisfaction I once derived from my development job. It's being pushed hard despite its many problems and limitations, and I'm pretty sure they'll eventually be considering your AI leverage when determining raises, layoffs, etc. I know better than to voice my concerns about it, I've been around long enough to know when the company has its mind made up about something and expects everyone to get on board or get out of the way.

I don't know where to go to escape it, though. Every company seems to be going all-in on AI and I'm not sure what else I could do with my education and skill set. And it's not like my family can afford for me to take a pay cut in the current economy.

  • Most metric units are designed around water in some way. Very easy to convert to different units because of this. 1mL of water is equal to 1g of water which is equal to 1 cubic cm of water, for example.

  • It's not a war, but we won the war. It was about regime change, and we successfully changed the regime to the same exact regime but with slightly more extremist leadership. But it wasn't about that, it was about nuclear weapons, and we just successfully crippled their nuclear capabilities, which we successfully crippled last summer, which were the same ones they built up after we pulled out the nuclear deal they made with a black president. But the important part is that this war was always about opening the strait of Hormuz, which was open before the war. We haven't done that, but we don't need it open anyway because we don't need the oil coming through there and I don't understand how the basic laws of supply and demand will affect prices back home. But also even though we just won this war, which is not a war, for the eighth time, we need to keep fighting this war for reasons I will come up with in the next two weeks. Please turn your attention to the bogus 2020 election investigation while I go collect my Dave and Busters Peace Prize.

  • In his most prolific writing era, Stephen King would wake up, chug a bottle of NyQuil, snort a fat line of coke, and write and drink the rest of the day (peppering in some additional drug use throughout the day, of course). He doesn't even remember writing entire books but they came out in a coherent form. It's almost like even if the magic spell checking software doesn't work, you can just hire a sober editor to make check your work.

  • Don Jr is on the board of Polymarket, FYI. I'm sure it's totally unrelated to all the 6 figure bets being placed mere minutes before every action in Iran.

  • On the one hand ACAB, on the other hand if a dog this big was dragging a cop around by the wrist like this I don't know that I could really blame him for it

  • I expect to be bombing ‘cause that would be a better attitude

I'm starting to think the FIFA Peace Prize should've gone to someone else

  • Clifford the big red dog has a house that's larger than his owners'. He's gotta eat at least truck's worth of food every day, right? I bet they need to rent out heavy machinery to have his dumps removed, too. Not to mention how many property damage lawsuits he regularly causes by wagging his tail or rolling around at the park.

This has nothing to do with equality or whatever, I just want to know what Emily Elizabeth's parents do for a living to be able to afford such a financial black hole of a dog.

  • The competent agents were fired ages ago.

  • I had to go to the dry cleaners before a wedding a few years back. I chose the local place over a chain, but the lady working there was super rude and I decided not to give them my business anymore. I haven't gone to a dry cleaners yet, but one day I'll have another wedding or funeral to attend and when that day finally comes they'll feel the wrath of my totally impactful boycott.

  • probably being illegal in your area

We're talking about a hypothetical scenario of disabling the killer robots that are deployed to put down civilians. If they're deploying the robots in the first place, they've already decided you're doing something illegal; at that point, operating within strictly legal parameters offers no benefit.
