  • I use it daily, but as a replacement for smart device integrations. For example, my alarm plays music while the lights come on to prevent me from going back to sleep. I used to do that with Google Home, now I do it with Music Assistant.

  • Are you drinking water with meals? I find washing something down, even a single chip, causes you to drink more than you could by itself.

Also, keep it at hand. A refillable bottle is worth investing in. If you like it ice cold, get a vacuum insulated vessel.

  • I quite enjoy Dracula from Houston, but that's probably nostalgia from a World of Warcraft machinima that used it as the theme song.

  • I want to be the reason the music goes silent

  • Wage theft is a crime, But it makes someone rich, and Then laws don't apply.

  • I mean, a self contained LAN is still feasible. Data can be a transferred through an air-gapped method like flash drives, DVDs, blurays, etc. It would probably be largely fine for most things, just slower.

Of course, any long-distance communication method could be compromised. Cell towers would be a huge risk, radios could be unsafe, and even cameras could be a risk since they can see a long distance. The power grid could send signals in the minute voltage drops as things draw more power.

In short, we're fucked and we can only pick the speed and intensity.

  • While both a made by Worthikids, I don't think Wire takes place in the same universe.

  • AI once again just standing for actually Indians.

  • Most theaters around me both had showings and were nearly sold out. It's a very pragmatic move to both strengthen their own future and that of the people who create things. The simple explanation to the viewers, with no CEO bullshit, is enough for me to accept the reasoning.

    1. Good, classic, simple
    2. More of the same
    3. An improvement, even better than before
    4. Different, but still good
    5. Awful, nobody asked for this

    Or that's my burger interpretation

  • I have found almost all radio status near me play a mix of 12 songs and ads. Tuning in to any station was likely to result in ads and not music.

My radio is tuned to static so I can get into my car without being forced into hearing an ad while my Bluetooth connects and I can start playing a book.

  • MATH! Estimated width of the US: 4506km Fastest maglev train: 600km/h Time to go cross country for sapphic love: 7 hours, 31 minutes.

  • They think users want settings all in one place. Users want settings that fucking work.

  • A ton of smart buttons. Every time you do the task you push the button and a time helper is updated to the next date. If today is beyond that date, update a second boolean helper to show the task must be again!

Bonus if you set a light or alarm to go off of you forget to do it or a reward dispenser to drop treats when you complete the task!

  • You would think politicians would start fearing losing their jobs.

  • Poor a little silicone in afterwards for a soft, squishy bottom that will make grabbing small parts easier.

  • That's confusing, I literally used the link and didn't see any option to change it. I guess it's dependent on local time zones?

  • They even got the Parker glasses meme backwards!
