  • I think the point is to express genre - you can often guess it right by the typeface of the logo - how noisy the music is and/or how hard it is to decipher lyrics based on the sound alone

  • I've played AoW 3 for about 8 hours and it looks like every other 4X to me, how different is AoW 4?

    As for Warhammer Total War - I'm still not over losing in a tutorial in TW: Shogun, but I'm pretty sure I have 1 and 3 on Epic Games. From what I've seen it's pretty much all about attacking nearby territory. My friend that was streaming it mostly played as Chaos and Skavens, so feel free to expand my view on the series.

    I've heard about Wildermyth, it's on my wishlist, but thanks for bringing it up.

    I've tried M&B for a few hours and I got bored very quickly.

    Do I care? Not really.

    Anyway, thanks for providing the name. I've checked it on Steam and I'd rather stick to CK2 for now.

  • I've played Total War: Shogun after a giveaway, lost in a tutorial, got so tilted I'll probably never play any Total War for years to come

    paradox’s penchant for dozens of dlcs had me run away from it some years back

    That's why I'm trying to avoid just getting some for CK2, like c'mon, generating a random world and transferring saves to EU4 shouldn't be locked away

  • (Un?)Fortunately I have Ninja Gaiden experience, so only the halfway boss was hard for me, and even that only because I didn't restock on healing, while the rest of the game was pretty much hitting bullet sponges until they finally die, because I didn't do any side quests nor grind. One enemy was 20 levels above me and took like 5 minutes to destroy while instakilling me. Only needed 15-20 minutes in total to get through that one.
