  • Unlikely. The difference is every retail employee in the nation. Is clearly told not to try and stop theft etc. Just report it.

    And while the companies claim it's to prevent harm to employees. It is very much to prevent employees or thieves from suing them.

    ASDA and any other retail company. Would be held responsible for any harm done. By both failing to warn staff not to get involved. And failing to adaquotely disapline staff that do.

    If ASDA was to hire this person. Knowing this happened. And then some event caused anyone to get injured. ASDA would go bankrupt.

    I regularly work on my boats electrics. Where I carry 35mm2 wire and other electrical parts to the boat. As my vision means driving is not possible. This means busses and walking in the street to the boat yard.

    If police stopped and pointed guns at me. And I heard multiple officers calling "Shoot Him". I'd sure as fuck be suing them. And fucking fuming in the press.

    The. By the mid 2000s as prices got to the point hey were more useful. They were still high enough that card payments became common. So retailers rarely had the till cash to change them.

    When it comes to actual invested wealth. The UK is now in the top 10 for inequality of distribution.
