  • Depends what is meant by exposed. Most asbestos has for long while only required removal is damaged. Their is a huge amount in my council house. We were well warmned what not to damage.

And given we are in the south east. The home would not exist if the council was forced to remove it. The cost is just to high.

  • Suprise suprise. The people most likely to be found involved in wrong doing. Do not want an investigation into that wrong doing.

Every PMs questions needs to be MPs asking what the leadership has to hide.

  • The money imbalance in politics is palpable

Yep as it is in the world as a whole. Compared to the 40 to 80 hugely so.

And guess what. The folks funding reform really really want it to get a fuck load worse.

  • If you're in your late 70s. You have an excuse. But are not likely to think as you do. But if so. Sorry you were fooled by such arsehole Corporations lieing about their own research for decades.

If younger. Then you grew up knowing how dangerous smoking was. Even if you failed to believe the government telling you so. You have no excuse for makeing the choices you did.

And most of us who made those dumb choices do not expect others to take responsibility for them. Even if we find/found stopping hard. In nearly 60 years. Absolutely every government in my lifetime. Has reduced the excuses of the generations forward to fall for the stupidity. Including my father who gave up in his late 60s after cancer. But knew full well how dumb his smoking was when I was a toddler.

You are entitled to your opinion. But everyone else is also entitled to consider you pathetic. For thinking the government is responsible for fixing your own stupidity.

  • The idea is to prevent addiction forming in newer generation. Rather then banning those they have already developed addiction.

The minimum age has been rising for a couple of years.

This is actually a manifesto promises so has fairly high support. (Unlike almost everything else the gov has done).

  • Going bankrupt is a great way to avoid such questions.

And conveniently happens when you refuse to show customers. How you plan to ensure abuse stops.

  • You realise a no confidence vote. Only means an election when the party in power has a narrow or no majority.

In most cases it would mean remapping the leadership of the existing party. Definitely here. It would mean a new PM. But with Labour not only having a majority. But also having removed left of centre MPs. Actual changes would be minimal.

  • More concerning. Either the FO made a political decision without PM authority. Indicating the PM dose not have control or confidence of the government.

Or the PM ordered the FO not to inform him. Meaning he had suspicions. Indicating his claim of not knowing. Is a lie to parliament.

Both of these events should very much mean a call for a vote of no confidence. And am explanation to the constituency of Amy MP not calling for a vote. Or voting confidence in the PM.

  • The vote was very clearly for duel membership only with CEC approved parties .

While other options were prevented from being available. So questioning it acceptable,

The statement that this move is against the vote. Is openly false.

Also as far as I know the majority of the parties listed. Also ban duel membership. Feel free to list any that do not.

  • Agreed. We will go. But the effort in building a colony on another planet. When that planet is not habitable. Is equal to that of building habits in centrifugal space stations. Using astroidbelt resources. Minus 1/2 the planatry landing and lift of costs.

It gives us all the plan b advantages of civilizations outside of one planet. At much lower costs.

  • Being part of parliament. Is not the same as having MPs vote. Parliament has the right to override the actions of any government. As parliament is sovereign not the government.

  • Many daft ideas existed in the 14 century.

Humanity grew out of most of their shit.

If we have done it for 100s of years before the discovery of reasoned science is your best argument. Give up.

  • Yes gender is a made up concept.

But sex is also not binary.

So ideas like biologically male are just that. Ideas with no real scentific merit.

Biologically XY could be used. But without clear medical evidence. The BBC has zero idea if that applies. And people are known to be born female. To the po8nt of getting pregnant with xy chromosomes.

And while documented cases are rare. They are rare because it is rare that anyone is actually tested,. So how common is not really known.

  • Yep. A desperate attempts to not take sides while ignoring actual science.

And with everything BBC not taking sides translates to supporting the arseholes.

  • No just an exaggerated tittle.

The article makes it clear. The experiment just suggest free will is more mentally taxing and calculated then random will.

  • What a crap title.

Never seen a folk living near to any fossil fuel power plants who are unemployed.

Yeah sounds just as fucking ridiculous as a statement doesn't it.

  • Likely thought it was the best option for gaining his seat. Now he thinks otherwise.

Honestly when labour turned right wing. As a way to win elections. They opened them selves to members choosing them to win elections and nothing more.

  • Turn out is so lo for these local elections. Real idiots never get excluded.

If folks actually turned up to vote and paid attention to who was running. Things may improve.

But when high turnout locals still tend to be in the 10% or less of voters. Way lower for most.

Most councilors only have to rely on a few hundred loyal supporters at most to turn an election.

  • LOL yep pretty sure anyone with brains called that.

Now let's see what happens when NATO members try to go through. I expect him to make aoint of nations that refused to follow his offers.

And he will Def pick on all smaller non NATO members ships.
