I signed my contract as a literal child who had been fed propaganda for their entire life. Once disillusioned by the reality, I fought for an entire year to get out so that I could avoid going and doing precisely that. I had familial and societal pressure to join.

I literally attempted suicide to avoid actually being used to oppress others. I’ll ask you the same question I asked the other - would you slice yourself open as a protest against the unjust or would you just hide behind a keyboard belittling people who have actually fought this government?

And it literally isn’t relevant to this discussion. However, you not knowing shit about me is relevant because you are casting judgement.

You don’t know if I have protested, or how I did it. You don’t know if I sabotaged things while I was in the military. You don’t know shit. If not for the fact I told I used to be in the military, you wouldn’t even know whether you were talking to an adult. Could you imagine saying what you just did to a literal child in real life? No, you’re protected by your anonymity which allows you to say whatever you want without repercussions.

You’re assuming I am weak-willed and haven’t done anything because of the nation I am from. You’re casting judgement on a person, not through the lens of reason but through the lens of hatred.

You are a hate-filled person who cannot see beyond a flag to see a human being. You are actually just as bad as the people who put Trump in power, and talking to people in the way you do will encourage them to be even more apathetic instead of getting them to do anything. You are literally helping Trump stay in power by shitting on Americans alongside him, instead of encouraging Americans to do something. Make sure to send him your invoice, bro

Blaming America is totally reasonable.

Blaming random individuals just because they happen to live there, with no consideration for what that individual has done, is nationalism. You believe you are superior just because of the nation you’re from. Thats not a good position to hold.

I don’t think you realize what I’m saying. You have to literally attempt suicide in order to get out of the military without waiting out your contract or removing yourself from society.

Like, they need to be able to visibly see that you have attempted to kill yourself, and even then you have to convince them that it was real.

Would you cut open your arm right now to prove a point?

You can’t just up and leave the military any time you’d like. You have to have a significant mental breakdown and end up in a psych ward to get out easily.
