Yeah I’ve been keeping an eye open for a used ninja too - I know they’re a great first bike. I do worry buying used that it wasn’t taken care of and it’ll bite me in a month or two. I’m very particular with taking care of my machines. That’s why I’m leaning more towards buying a new cheaper brand like cfmoto.
Did you ever feel the 400 was sluggish or underpowered? I plan to use it for general commuting occasionally but mostly joyriding in the country and maybe a track visit or two when I’m really comfortable on it.
No real experience with moto. Just lots of mountain biking so I’m pretty comfortable on two wheels.
Definitely taking the riders course 100% I was hoping to bring my own bike to it to learn directly on it instead of a different type bike that they would provide.
It sucks being a slave to this wholly broken system. Admittedly the system is only broken from our perspective. In theirs it’s working exactly as intended. The classes won’t be too bad I hope. Wishing you well :)
China needs to do a fast track immigration program for Americans asap. I’m sure they would pick up a lot of the brain drain and skyrocket way ahead of the other “superpowers”.
I feel that way about everything low calorie or “healthier” when they add the fucking fake sugar. I wish they’d just make things less sweet instead of fakely sweet with chemical aftertaste. It drives me crazy. The powers of this shithole country seem to want everyone addicted to sugar/sweetness.
My 24yr old truck has no idea what even a CD is and I like it like that. I think for sure there will be a market for dumb cars at some point similar to the way dumb tvs are making a (very small) comeback. I honestly don’t see the reason the car needs any of that when I can slap my phone up on the dash and it can handle all the navigation and music etc.
You should be able to undo it and make sure nothing is cracked or broken first. Then you can add teflon tape to the exposed threads. Two to three wraps in clockwise direction. Then reassemble making sure the connection isn’t too tight. Hand tight plus maybe a quarter turn should be good. Check in a couple days or so and make sure it isn’t leaking and still tight and you should be good!
I learned this the other day when reloading one of my fire sticks with an updated app. I found plenty of strikingly similar android based sticks like the firestick that I plan to use when the fire sticks stop working. Not sure what to do if google disables side loading for android though.

Thanks for the advice!
