  • No shit, 1:1 the system Apple uses. You want your all in Apple App Store? Create a developer account and verify it (phonenumber, Name , Address and ID) Also pay 100$ in fee per year for the certificate. You don’t? Then verify your app in another process so that it can be sideloaded in EU and Japan, the process is also hilariously complex. That also a big no no? Then sign your app with your Apple ID that you crate at Apple that is also only valid for 7 days. You also need to enable developer mode on all the devices that want to install that app. Sounds fine, or does it?

  • Just don’t use any command in proxmox. Proxmox is designed GUI first. It got an update button in the GUI. Only major releases could need tinkering in the terminal. But even changing repos is now possible in the GUI.

  • PS5 HapticTriggers do only work on supported games like DeathStranding on MacOS. Don’t know if it also works on Windows and Linux

  • Why is Fedora atomic not more secure? It is literally immutable. Which kills the concept of persistent malware, unless they archive a complex exploit chain to gain root and install a malicious package and then reboot into the new iso, which is easier said then done.

  • Privacy or Security? Security would be something like Fedora Atomic. Privacy (and security?) QubesOS , TailsOS But as Linux is FOSS, you can just take any distro and form it as you like.

  • Yes you are correct. I am sorry, I caused that misunderstanding. I use Morphreader and GroundNews at the moment. The differences are there. Morphreader try’s to give you a sum up on some topics in the payd version. You can then create a custom feed with category priority. But it does not compare different news outlets. This feature is missing and I think it will not come in a short amount of time

  • Morphreader is a German made alternative with RSS feed integration. BUT It also has AI. The developer plans to FOSS the project for F-Droid in the near future so keep an eye on it.

  • Could be multiple things. Dry your filament, in an oven or special dry box if you own one. Clean your bed with warm water (no soap or alcohol/acetone)

    Use a glue stick for better adhesion.

    Also, if you printer support it, you can generate a level matrix to see if it is leveled.

  • I am using it more or less actively. The big thing I am waiting for is the self host and federation support. But in general it is a good replacement for discord with its own people and community’s. Met really cool people there.

  • Öfter als einmal, aber ja, Cloudflare , Azure, Google und AWS haben eine zentrale Rolle im Netz. Deswegen mag ich Fediverse. Solange nicht alle beim gleichen VPS Anbieter hängen, eine Besserung. Shit Happens und man möchte es in der Regel vermeiden. Und PC Lesegerät wäre für mich zumindest ungeeignet und umständlich, mache mehr am Handy und mit den Apps direkt.

  • Unter normalen Umständen, wenn man den Perso mit aktivieren eID besitzt, + Handy mit NFC und AusweisApp. Und man zu der Gruppe gehört die sich mindestens einen PIN merken kann ohne ihn auf den Ausweis zu notieren. Ja dann ist es ein leichterer Weg.

    Ich möchte aber nochmal auf ich schätze 2023 hinweisen, wo die Server von eID ausgefallen sind wegen einem Ansturm von Leuten für ein Formular. Ich hoffe die sind inzwischen stabiler

  • Das ist auch der Grund weshalb es unzumutbar wäre Online Alters Verifikationen damit durchführen. Bestimm 90% der Leute haben den PIN vergessen oder nie eingerichtet. Bei Diensten wie Facebook/whatsapp wäre das örtliche Amt direkt überfordert wenn ein Menschen Ansturm kommt nur um den neusten Post von xyz wieder kommentieren zu können.
