We could ask the same question about the beetrooter, Angus Taylor, Pauline Hanson or any number of openly corrupt, mostly incompetent conservative politicians. I'm not from NSW but holy hell that Barilaro idiot seems like a real corrupt piece of shit but still managed to convince one of the richest states in the nation to make him Premier.
I tend to get it every year, my company offers it for free to all employees. In Aus it's typically free for the elderly but you need to pay for it if you get it at a chemist. Every large employer I've worked for has offered it for free to employees. Is a simple low cost solution for lowering sick leave across the workforce without setting up a toxic culture of working when you're sick.
Nova is absolute fucking trash these days. I opened my kids tablet the other day and my instant reaction was "what the fuck is with all these dodgy apps and ads on the home screen and in the app drawer?!" I soon realised I had installed Nova to get away from the Samsung interface. Samsung's ui sucks but holy hell it's better than Nova these days.
It's an international thing, very common in Australia, I also had it when living in the UK. Basically a vaccine against the current strains of the flu. Doesn't completely protect you, but if you do get the flu after having the vaccine, the resulting symptoms tend to be pretty minor. It's pretty important for people who have a tendency for dying when they get the flu, like old people.
It absolutely is another subscription service, but is equivalently priced to acrobat. While I'm all for pay to own, if you are already paying a subscription to acrobat and need the features of that application, revu is a no brainer change.
That said, I'm pretty keen to hear about alternatives, I've never heard of Stirling or pdf gear so I'll check em out. Thanks!
It's reds under the bed. If anyone in a position of power says you're a socialist then you're a socialist and you get made stateless and dumped in Nigeria.
Personally I love how acrobat has different colour pallets for markups depending on how you access the objects properties and think its a perfect example of how well put together their software is in general.
Edit: it's comparably priced to acrobat but is significantly better on all fronts (opens and runs faster and more reliably, markup tools are leagues above, pdf editing tools are more comprehensive, review tools are significantly more advanced, everything is more user friendly. It's wild how much better revu is when it's literally the same price point.
I think public transport at the time was a real screw around for him because his area was poorly serviced and the nearest train station was super dodgy
He tracked his food costs and fuel costs for a few months, noted when he drove and when he cycled and then correlated total costs with transportation mode. I have no idea how he was sourcing his food or what he was eating.
Round trip, so it was 25km. Sadly Peth Australia has one of the largest urban sprawls on the planet so 25km isn't an unreasonable commute here and when you are a young uni student sometimes it's more cost effective overall to live with your parents. This isn't a post in support of cars, it's more saying that fuel for bicycles is most certainly not free and to suggest it is is disingenuous. Arguably there may have been other things my friend could have done to reduce his food bill, but he was already pretty thrifty in general.
It's probably reasonable to assume all of the 14th floor windows are his ..
