  • No one ever gets fired for buying IBM or Microsoft. I remember years ago I put together a plan for all opensourced, mature software on Linux hosts for my company. Would have saved us 6 figures in coats. They went with microsoft's crappy solution instead because it was Microsoft.

Mt family took me on an outing to some pop up museum experience where the rooms were dark and filled with videos and sound and stuff. Cool enough i guess. But after 10 min i found my way outside to a patio area facing the water and was able to just sit on a park bench. No input other than watching the waves. Spent an hour just sitting there before they found me.

    A 2d plane must exist in a 3d space

    A 3d space must exist in a 4d time.

    Basically every dimension must exist within a higher dimension.

    Think of a tennis ball bouncing in front of you. Now freeze time. The ball can be placed at x,y,z position (basically). But the same ball exists at a different x,y,z if we include t for the 4th dimensional measurement. The xyz changes position as the ball bounces, but only if t changes indicating movement through 4d time.

  • I loaded pop os years back for the nvidia support and since i bought hardware from the same manufacturer that supplies system76. Its been fine, no complaints other than the battwry life....to be expected.

    I found out that sys76 keeps most its software and drivers only for machines it sells. When i try to install things, i get unknown system. Fyi
