  • A battle in this WW2 MMO went on for over 2 months and killed 9 million players, so devs stepped in to end it early, only for "one last hurrah" to win it anyway

  • As a person who plays from time to time, it was more that the war was in a massive stalemate. It was on the secondary server, where less players are on than is required to push the front lines.

  • Whoa calm down, While I was a bit harsh, I definitely didn't mean any hostilities you might have picked up from this.

    Genre names are just names of the genres. They have no bearing on the actual quality of the games that they categorize. There are good games in poorly named genres and bad games in aptly named genres.

    I was just sharing my thoughts on what the industry calls them and wondering what other people thought about them

  • Same, though the base building is also one of the things that ties the procgen there together imo. Theres something just cool about being able to discover random player's bases organically by exploring, even if it is rare to actually find em in the quintillions of planets
