  • At home my breville delivers espresso’s at 93 degrees C. But it cools quickly in porcelain cups. Did they serve the coffee at boiling temperature?

  • It’s the fancy name they gave to the mix between cocker spaniel and poodle.

  • I remember thinking Steam would die in less than 6 months because nobody wanted dematerialised games…

  • Nice !

  • Are those pillars structural ?

  • Brother was good but I’m disappointed by the last units I had. After 4 years of light home usage (one page here and there), they are not picking up paper in the tray. Same for some relatives which bought similar units. Feels like scheduled obsolescence …

  • IMO the electric oven is an appliance of the house, can be used at your better convenience. But the consumption of your car, was it by fuel or by electricity by charging a 80 - 100 kWh car battery, should not be supported by the property owner.

And you are comparing a phone battery with a car battery, I get that on paper it looks like that same but obviously this is messed up comparison. Sounds like comparing filling water for pasta cooking and filling a 40k L swimming pool…

In the end, the answer will be that renting prices will increase to support the extra electricity cost. And those not having an electric car will pay more for nothing more.

  • Isn’t that breed forbidden in some countries ? I remember reading something about the Netherlands…

  • Hi fellow, you’re actually pretty rude. Even your « I apology » comment is not an apology at all.

As an IOS dev, swift engineer, major critic bla bla bla, you should know that there are more constructive ways of providing feedback.

  • Regular sailboats have very low fuel consumption. Like 30HP motors used only when not possible to put the sails. Here it is not a sailboat, this is a luxury appartement on water. The carbon footprint will never be neutralized.

  • Can someone ELI5 ? VAT collected by companies including hotels has to be paid to the government. Here the government pays the invoices VAT included. Isn’t this operation neutral ? Since this seems to be a big issue, I guess not. What am I missing ?

  • Not sure … not everyone can afford 3k €.

  • They have an amazing one in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.

  • Again it show subscription based services should be avoided like plague. Once you become an intensive user the subscription price increases and it’s painful to change.

  • I asked Bing GPT4 how I can do that on iPhone. Here is the answer :

There are some apps and services that claim to use AI to answer telemarketers calls on your iPhone. One of them is Jolly Roger Telephone, which uses ChatGPT and voice cloning to create and read scripts to telemarketers, acting as digital, fictitious characters that keep scammers on the line¹². You can subscribe to this service for $24.99 a year and access the accompanying apps to view, listen, and share recorded calls between the bot and the frustrated telemarketer¹. Another app is Call Control, which features smart block technology to automatically block calls from millions of spammers, telemarketers and robocallers³. You can download this app for free from the App Store³. I hope this helps you deal with pesky telemarketers.😉

    Anyone tried ?

  • Do you think you get 5 days workweeks and paid holidays just because your ancestors politely asked for it ?

  • Merci, je télécharge et vais essayer ça !

  • Well I exaggerated the « being sliced in two », what I ment is that it can be a bit painful when you’re moving forward and the doors are closing at the speed of light. And when they close, it looks like there are no sensors, it feels like you have to fight your way out of the crocodile mouth.

  • Some people do not know they will have to scan, but can we blame them ? I feel the ones not ready to scan are not daily commuters, they take the metro occasionally, are waiting in the lane without visibility on the gate, and see they have to scan only when it’s their turn.
