  • This'd be a perfect opportunity for renewables.

  • So they will go after Orange family, right?

  • Do we want to go to war because EU defence clauses are stronger than NATO ones?

We are already at war, a half assed one though. If Ukraine falls, it's bad or worse news for us. And the world.

  • It's always like that, EU members, specially those bordering with a candidate country or those feeling threatened, blackmail the shit out of them. But Ukraine is a huge market, plenty of rebuilding once the war ends and also a buffer zone between Russia and EU.

  • Author missed one aspect. Even if AI is one day reliable, it'll most likely be owned by a few companies. What if those companies decide to cut you off?

  • Though it's not true, they have cards, but only a non demented leader can understand those.

  • Go with either kotlin or c#, I'd say. Both are high level and easy to start with. If you don't have a preference, pick one of the two randomly.

  • If one mostly works with windows ecosystem, then it makes sense. That said I still work plenty on legacy windows app, but I'm fine with Linux and windows VM guest.

  • How did they find the problem that fast?

  • Any package manager is prone to supply chain attacks, npm is now affected because of a shit tone of dependencies every package brings 🤷

  • Yes, it's incredibly nice, versatile, powerful and efficient. Me being a .net dev since first beta. That said it's still a GC based runtime if that matters to you. I'm also looking more and more at kotlin as an alternative. If I was to look for a non GC language, I'd go with rust.

  • No cards, eh?

  • No worries, you couldn't know that. I really wish we could do anything meaningful, though.

  • Is it, though? We failed to join SA in their lawsuit against Israel because of unknown reasons. All we do is being concerned, mostly. Meanwhile our universitiy is extending cooperation with Israeli one tied to their war complex, we are buying Israeli spy tools etc.

  • They should've stopped at least when they started a genocide in broad daylight.

  • Sure, I can also drive it to any repair shop where they can buy repair parts and replace them or do whatever it takes to repair it. I can even replace the light bulbs myself, though thus part is not trivial :S

  • Warmongering.

  • We're not talking this specific case, we are talking in general. In that case the data was obviously not replaced properly.

  • It's not exactly the same. Space where you put charging stations is usually limited. With higher power chargers, the entire charging infrastructure will require more power. Which means "thicker" cables. Sure, globally the power requirement are the same.
