  • I'm using KDE and when I download a flatpak it automatically creates a .desktop file. I think gnome does this too if I'm not mistaken. I do have to restart or relogin for it to put the file there but that's not that bad IMO.

  • I have had a problem where some apps will just open to then show up as black. I can't seem to figure out why its not working. It is what it is.

  • Not sure if this will fix your problem but try Wayland and see if you have the issue. I don't know why a lot of my problems with games were fixed and it might help you.

  • It's insane how I just had this problem today. Had to tear out my network card in my Asus VivoBook 16. The drivers aren't out for the MediaTek network card so I had to change it to an Intel one that I previously used.

  • I liked the look of this project but I can not make it run on Wayland. I use Nvidia-Hyprland Arch Linux and it does not seem to want to start for me and its seems a couple of others as well. I hope this gets patched and when it does I'll definitely play it.

  • I am reading the wiki, but it is mostly discussing PulseAudio and not providing much information about PipeWire. I am unsure whether they share similar file locations or configuration processes, and I do not want to arbitrarily paste PulseAudio commands without knowing their potential effects.

  • My headphones are not Bluetooth, and I have already disabled the EQ. Disabling the EQ has not fixed my problem; it has only made the sound slightly more bearable.

  • From what I have seen it is every GOG game. You have to install it manually if you get it from gog-games.com or another piracy site.

  • It never used to do that before it just made you add the install files yourself. But yea that is probably what it is doing now.
