    It wasn't just powerful women (and I mean powerful as in having healing, midwifery, herbalism, etc., not as in having money) that were targeted. Poor women are targetted. But woman healers, midwives and knowledge keepers were indeed targeted.

  • It depends on tone of voice. It can be said gently and by someone overseeing care. Tension reveals if their is a mismatch between the stumbler amd the speakers assumptions about the speakers rights to give imperatives. Some people dislike any form of governance, evem gentle care, and in that case, even kind of warning will always set them off, in any context.

    It is about what we assume and imply about ourselves and others.

  • As someone who reads the news, it's so tereible right now that you probably shouldn't read it directly. It would be risky to mental health and happiness.

    One of the reason why comedians are becoming inpostant sources of news. Jimmy Kkmmel and Colbert and that kind of thing. the medicine goes down with a spoon full of sugar.

    In ancient celtic culture comedians were very powerful figures. I heard they were forbidden from having heirs, like clergy, because fhey were so powerful. They could topple kings with fhwir skills.

    The biggest threat to dictators and fascists are journalists. and comedians are the new journalist.

    I know a few Goth women that dislike how their subculture has been the subject of a fetish. But a deep respect for the power and independence of Goths is not the same as the fetishization of a people and comes from a more constructive place, I would guess. Not the same as 'yellow fever' for Asian women for example.

  • That's why we are accused of being the brides of Satan. They can't imagine how we have gained our power without having that particular male figure in their equation. It's a hatred of women at its core. Countless knowledge keepers, herbalists and medicine women have been crushed by their hatred of women.

  • I was harassed and plagued by normie people telling me to "just meditate". Not possible for me, but that doesn't stop the "helpful advice" from flowing from them.

    I figured it out though. If I completely exhaust myself physically with exercize, my brain takes the same meditation instructions theirs does and can respond as theirs to the meditation. It helped after that.

  • New ideas and methods are going to be what people need to combat these crackdowns. Posing new thoughts is what people have to start attempting, even at the risk of ridicule. Not every innovative idea is a winner, but eventually a new method will solve the problem. Everyone should keep thinking about how to acheive untracible HAM radio.
