My name’s not Rick.

  • Priests cannot marry. Marriage and the Priesthood (Holy Orders) are the only sacraments that are mutually exclusive.

  • They believe marriage is for the sole purpose of procreation, which is their little loophole. They’re so weird about it that I’m surprised they’ve never pushed fertility tests as a pre requisite before allowing a marriage ceremony.

  • When everyone else seems to be in a race to the shitheel bottom, the Catholic Church remaining who they’ve always been feels somewhat better in comparison.

  • I’m no expert but it looks like a pancake

  • I’d keep them away from the stream but yeah sometimes they’d get a little soft

  • Used to get high as fuck back in college and eat shower Reese’s

  • The Lun design had several drawbacks. One was that although the ground effect enabled it to fly at low altitude, in order to utilize the effect it had to fly as low as 1.5–3.0 m (5–10 ft) off the water due to its short wingspan, so it could not fly when seas were even mildly rough. Another was that the craft was only designed to use the ground effect principle, so it could not ascend to higher cruising altitudes.

I question how on earth this got past the whiteboard phase. If seafaring ability was the need, why not build this as a ship? If speed was necessary, why wasn’t this a true aircraft?

  • I probably wouldn’t eat until the evening if I had a full English! My goal is to hit a 10k in under 50 mins. I’ve managed to do a sub 53 minute, but shaving off those three minutes has been surprisingly difficult.

  • This is interesting because 3,000 feet is well above the software-imposed ceiling of most consumer drones. I wonder if it was an older model with fewer restrictions or something else entirely.

  • I eat it pretty often, I just haven’t found that to be the case for me. Then again, my breakfast this morning was two big cups of coffee and a single clementine. Im pretty active but not close to what you do, I think 7 miles is my personal best for distance.

  • I have never understood this joke

  • Yeah, I’ve just been too lazy to switch to one of my alts.

  • And now that Russia is booted out, isn’t Australia the largest country by area in Eurovision?

  • In a vacuum sure that’s well and good, but if the child’s parents are shitheads then outing a kid figuring out their identity is just throwing another problem onto their plate. I could see kids getting sent to conversion therapy as a result of being outed.

It reminds me of the logic behind sanctuary cities; you don’t want immigrants to become easy prey for criminals because they’re afraid to speak to authority figures. I think it’s important to allow children to feel secure with authority figures outside of their parents in the event their parents are not good people and may potentially do them harm.
