  • Yes, unfortunately it has to be done each time. Annoyingly it doesn't work as it's being taken off the dock, so I have to turn it back off then hold B and turn on again.

I've been lucky that Steam maps the controller to just about everything I play. I see where switching modes all the time would get irritating quickly.

  • I have the same controller. With newer firmware, if you hold B while turning it on, it starts in D-Input mode instead of X-Input or Switch. That should enable analog triggers and gyro at the same time.

  • Also that one Shredder flight in TMNT4 where you throw enemies at the screen.

  • "Just like daddy pits in his dwink every morning... and then he gets mad."

  • You mean Fred Savage?

  • Maybe it's fan art based on The Fox and the Hound.

  • And then you use it to fight Kaiju.

  • I wanted to live through the fun, far-future space exploration part of Star Trek, not the near-future WW3 part of Star Trek. :(

  • Edit: 36 feet, not 36 inches XD

  • No light failures needed:

  • They really dialed back on the modern music drops. Mostly it was orchestral music that wove in motifs based on the games' soundtracks, the way it should have been in the first movie.

I see from Lymmyng's comment I'm not the only one confused by the castle dropping back down onto a completely different planet.

For like 3/4 of the movie I thought Rosalina was going to be Peach's mother, not sister.

The excessive attention given to Fox lends credence to those rumors there's a Starfox game coming later this year.

No Fryguy or Triclyde. So glad we finally got Wart and Mouser recognition again, at least.

Overall, like the first movie, but bigger. A vehicle for random references and cameos where stuff just kind of happens for the fun of it. My standards for video game movies are still pretty low, so I enjoyed it for what it was. Probably won't revisit anytime soon, but I don't regret watching it or anything.

Also the Toy Story 5 trailer beforehand (and its "toys vs tech" story) hits a little different when half the kids in the theater were looking at their phones just a few minutes earlier. Kinda looks like you lost that fight already. :(

  • I'm glad there are still other DC fans out there. I love the game but it's so tough. I swear I'll finish it one of these decades.

  • This image keeps crashing my phone's browser from the sheer size, which just makes your point even funnier.
