Speaking online is a waste of time, my paranoia stupidly telling me it wasn't pointless, silly me. Off.

  • the statement is incorrect

    which one ?

I've never said that Iran doesn't attack outside its borders, but reminded the readers that it has somehow managed not to hit schools, medical facilities, or museums/monuments since the beginning of the war, the same clearly can't be said for Israel and the u.s., whether in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, or unfortunately in the past elsewhere as well, often hiding behind the lazy accusation of human shields, claiming that our strikes are chirurgical, the usual.

  • Why is it always the best comments that are censored ?Sorry man, you're the only "opponent" i upvoted in this thread

Pfff, you were even perma-banned(, without any warnings), wtf, the rules aren't even in the sidebar !

Send me a DM if you ever want to keep discussing this, i'll create a censorship-free lemmy instance one day.

  • Yeah, sentlese was referring to the current conflict. And i doubt that at this scale it is just mistakes and human shields, the worst possibility is that they want to terrorize Iran into submission, giving it a taste of the war/destruction to come if it doesn't accept Palestine's destruction.Or these are just mistakes and Iran is somehow much more precise than them, and even the double tap strike in Minab's school at the beginning of the war was just a weird mistake.

  • The instagram link has for source https://www.iranintl.com/en/202601082682, which dates from the protests and not the war. It's the proof that one school has once been used by police, not that a missile strike has been justified by a photo :

Your second article has this part :

It doesn't give any explanation nor name of schools, i couldn't find anything while reverse searching the picture, and the only thing i found about the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers’ Trade Associations is that article which seems to indicate that iranintl voluntarily attributed a citation from before the war as if it described a current situation.

Please correct me if i've made a mistake.

I also searched for some kind of photographic justification by either the u.s.a. or Israel for their strikes on civilian buildings, but haven't found a single one.

So i wouldn't make a very good journalist :- no confirmation of the number of civilian buildings put forward by the iranian government ;- no confirmation of a military presence when these buildings were targeted.

Edit : I found this, recent enough and probably the best we'll have : https://www.hra-iran.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/FINAL-Civilian-Harm-in-Iran-after-One-Month-of-War.pdf

HRA has verified damage to 60 hospitals or medical centers, 44 schools, and 129 residential buildings, while government estimates indicate more than 16,000 homes were damaged.

Again, i don't see Iran targeting schools, hospitals, or centuries-old historical buildings

  • Yes my source is the iranian government, and it's fair enough to claim that the Iranian Red Crescent may be a biased NGO.More than 20 days ago the WHO verified 13 attacks on health infrastructure in Iran, but apart from that a quick search didn't bring much. Since everyone lies then even muslims may be no exception.

In the end these are details, what we should talk about is how anti-zionists and Israel can live in peace with each other, i.m.o. the west has to offer something of a value equivalent to Israel's implantation, that's what a fair trade would imply(, if we truly aim to set an example).I wrote some solutions here, do you think of others that could be added, if possible fair ones ?

  • Yes, like Israel 🙄

    At least try when counter-argumenting

(No comment in 5h30, and then two comments from you and carrylex in less than two minutes)

  • I can provide other sources than 𝕏 for the facts cited above, can you provide at least one source for yours ?At least Russia provided pictures before ~each strike on a school, but it wasn't admitted as evidence, hypocrites much ?Hard to believe that the people who did this would shy away from repeating their crimes in Lebanon and Iran.

  • Cuba @lemmy.ml

    #1 terrorist country

  • Iran @lemmy.ml

More than 120 iranian museums and monuments and 100.000 civilian units damaged

  • The rest of Europe is multiplying its military budget, saying that they are on an inevitable collision course with Russia, and if Ukraine still doesn't want to negotiate by now then it never will.Since staying behind their lines during four whole years did nothing to end the war, then perhaps that a full-scale invasion is the last option possible(, apart from giving up on their objectives). What a mess, who would ever want to be in their positions.I'd say either respect your separatist's choice or join them.

  • Netanyahu's right, i.m.h.o., to state that you can't turn the other cheek on a governmental level(, and wrong to go further than "an eye for an eye" i.m.o.), that's why islam arrived and Muhammad ﷺ had no other choice but to take up arms or die like previous prophets before him. It's also something that christians are well aware of, and have discussed at length(, not that kings or even a few popes always entirely followed the conclusions of these humble priests/monks/christians), i.m.o. there's a really easy fusion of christianity on a personal level and islam on a national level, that has yet to exist since most muslims don't seem to have retained christian teachings(, a.f.a.i.k. from the few books i read, i don't live there).

That said, you'll be treated as you treat others(, and should treat them as you'd want to be treated), if you allow yourself to lie then don't complain if others lie, if you don't care about civilians or prisoners then your enemies won't as well, if you don't care about negotiating then don't expect others to do you this favor, etc.Christian teachings are clearly valid, billions of people recognized that paradise will come upon Earth if we follow them.

(My favorite solution for Israel here is still to divide the Holy Lands in three while offering an acceptable western territory to muslims and jews in exchange)

One year ago, Hossam Shabat was murdered by Israel

  • Yeah, watch as we(sterners) stay silent about the new bolivian dictatorship under Rodrigo Paz, as he governs through decrees and makes ineligible 80% of the candidates(, 26.000 out of 34.000, with almost no substitution), something unseen under the MAS, who didn't even need a second turn to win the 2020 elections, and would have won in 2025 as well without a suspicious(, fearful of the US ?,) betrayal of Luis Arce. Their victory in these subnational elections was assured, especially following the recent mass protests against Rodrigo Paz.This article doesn't mention the mass invalidation and its causes, nor that they put Luis Arce in jail and are trying to do the same for Evo Morales.

That's what happens once you allow the rent-seekers to take power(, Étienne Chouard has a better solution to be safeguarded from abuses of power), and what will happen to Venezuela as well(, at least Venezuela's constitution has the art.72 along with its participatory democracy, even if it didn't protect them from sanctions), with a complicit silence of the capitalist-owned press, who'd have immediately denounced it if Evo Morales ever did something similar, and there will obviously not be any sanction, bombing, or western-backed coup in order to restore democracy and liberty. And it's not only in Bolivia.

So, what's their alternative then, armed struggle ? They should just give up on their lives and sacrifice it in order to attempt taking back control ?Rodrigo "Paz" banned their medias, and now they can't even participate in a biased election, let us applaud.

It's still a defeat compared to the past, but i feared worse(, even if the MAS is indeed destroyed) https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elecciones_subnacionales_de_Bolivia_de_2026I unfortunately expect more manipulations from him in regard to his first 6 months, in order to avoid a defeat in 2030. There should be the possibility of a citizen-initiated recall referendum in every country, and no-one should ever govern through decrees...And i maintain that if he was honest then he should have been more lenient by only invalidating at most 10% of the worst candidacies, as a progressive warning for the future, the lack of information never posed a problem in the past(, e.g. instead of banning Andrónico Rodríguez and other deputies from participating because they were in La Paz they could have had the same exception as usual).

Not that the u.s. always obeyed that rule. When it refused a visa to Yasser Arafat in 1988, the General Assembly held its reunion in Geneva instead.

It's just ironic that the empire(, that seeks hegemony by imposing its will through strength, propaganda, so many double standards), hosts the United Nations headquarters, that seeks multilateralism/harmony/'unity, but not at the expense of diversity'/'diversity, but not at the expense of unity'.We're still imperfect, what matters is that the new ideas are heard and tested if they're an improvement, e.g. direct democracy for the west, and multilateralism for the world. And/Or something else, we still have a long way to go before Perfection/'the End'.

  • Well, Călin Georgescu was forbidden from participating in the 2025 elections despite winning the first round, and Nicușor Dan ended up being the romanian president.

Moldova successively banned the Șor Party in June 2023, the Chance Party in November 2023, the Victory Bloc in 2024, and the Heart of Moldova in September 2025, but as for Ecuador you'll never hear about that !« the pro-Russian Patriotic Electoral Bloc has 26.6%. The Russia-friendly Alternativa Bloc stood at 8.6% and the populist Our Party — which wants "balanced foreign policy" between East and West — has 6.3% », they also banned 18 Russian-language television channels and over 60 internet resources, and restricted access to opposition politicians' channels on social media and internet platforms, while pro-western media operate in Moldova without restrictions to manipulate the votes.

    Hungary is under sanctions.

Ukraine overthrew Yanukovych with the help of the west, and already started after 2004 to "promote the ukrainian language" by enforcing subtitles, imposing ukrainian in the administration(, reverted in 2012 with Yanukovych), having more and more conflicts with Russia, promoting Stepan Bandera and others, they also launched a witch hunt against their anti-e.u. opponents(, e.g. Borys Kolesnykov). In Moldova, Ilan Shor and others were also attacked before 2014 under what may have been false pretenses.

In Estonia, they went even further by banning 6.1% of their population from voting. In Latvia, the Harmony party was the main force of opposition but has now virtually disappeared after 2022, even if their leader Nils Ušakovs was already accused of corruption in 2019. And many diverse things against pro-russians

In Bulgaria, they tried to ban the Vazrazhdane party but ended up failing, so it's now the third political party of the country. It is good to know that with the Magnitsky Act, the u.s. can just ban pro-russian political candidates from participating. They sanctioned Delyan Peevski and Vasil Bozhkov in 2021, as well as Vladislav Goranov in 2023.The Magnitsky act was used in other countries of the eastern bloc as well : Aleksandar Vulin in Serbia in 2023, Milorad Dodik in Bosnia from 2022 to 2024, Antal Rogán in Hungary in 2025, Vakhtang Gomelaur in Georgia in 2024, ...

    Slovenia

We'll only hear about, e.g., Georgia or Hungary, or other opponents, exaggerating their misdeeds while ignoring ours

Pro-Russia Narek Karapetyan in Armenia as well

In New Caledonia, France just closed 48 polling stations out of 56, greatly complicating the votes for the poorest part of the population(, usually pro-independence). I'm from France and that's one more thing not known.
