  • Codeberg is a German non profit iirc, I host some stuff there but most is on my personal Forgejo.

    The Forgejo devs (mostly centered on Codeberg) are also the ones pushing for federalized code forges (I open a PR on your git server from mine and so on)

  • I like to use my eyes, an ssh connection and my shell.

    tmux and tui monitoring tools are also often handy.

  • Yeah, I agree, they're mostly working fine, even with mods. Their client is crap though.

  • I don't think it's the marketing crap, but business people like to have warranty and someone to blame when something goes wrong.

    Now, GPL and MIT explicitly state that there is no warranty, not even implied warranty.
