  • It is in flat huh I think

  • Good you say it. Smoking really drives people away. I'm a non smoker and never will, I'm seeking distance whenever someone in my proximity smokes.

That includes smoking 2: electric boogaloo (vaping) too, even though it doesn't smell as bad.

  • Plugin support is a huge thing, obsidian does this so good. Also, tags are pretty cool, not sure if logseq has them. Do I remember correctly that Logseq does not store your stuff in a pure mix of markdown and directories, or was that another App?

  • Why would it not work? I use neovim.

  • You might be right, oopsie

  • I just do flatpaks install something and it finds a few packages named something and let's me chose. What else do we need, besides flatpaks being more cli friendly?

  • Cool post, didn't know about jq and seq. Keep the learning up! Your little series is really nice here.

I also went ahead and set myself up a gitea instance on my server for when I’m ready to create repositories for myself for my scripts and dotfiles

A little question, do you have really really specific skills, or how does it come that you don't know git but are able to selfhost gitea? Just really proficient with orchestration tools like docker?

Since you host gitea you might want to know. Forgejo and Gitea are almost the same software, Forgejo is a "soft fork" of Gitea maintained by Codeberg, a very pro open source non commercial Organisation pushing for federalization of "code forges". Think Lemmy/fediverse but for Git Servers.

  • You can unlock the browser and maybe do it that way. If you just want YouTube, the switch has a YouTube app, no need for homebrew there.

If you want to go full out, you can install a second OS like GNU/Linux or Android and stream with that OS.

  • Fungi scare me

  • I'm an LMDE user too, albeit cinnamon with x was causing some problems on my hardware. I use plasma with Wayland now, LMDE is a great choice.

  • I'm using plasma on LMDE, are you telling me they don't officially support it?

  • If I remember correctly from my CCNA, it is also responsible for configuring routes from one network to another, because configuring static routes in routers is not fun.

  • What hardware do you mean specifically?

  • I host my array of HDD drives with btrfs, works well and is Linux native.

  • Basiert

  • Amazing. I've switched to forgejo, thr gitea projects are amazing and I'm awaiting federation.

  • Could do that, but they have different flu args.i respect the power of rm now.

  • The factory must grow

  • Debian is ~
