  • There’s a risk of that backfiring though. There could well be people who stick with an older iPhone to avoid Apple Intelligence.

    Conversely, people will rightly ask if Samsung can bring GalaxyAI to two year old phones why can’t Apple bring it to a phone that it is still selling.

  • I do hope they are okay. I don’t think they are the type of person to charge a premium amount for lifetime (which was controversial at the time) and then stop development. They seemed honest, so I am concerned that something has happened.

  • Putting aside that this use case doesn’t meet the five requisites for block chain use, the fediverse in general and Lemmy is already struggling with too much data being stored and moved.

  • The answer is: do a job you like and do the things you like. I’m due to retire in ten years and won’t be doing so. I won’t work as much but I will work

    It’s easier in some countries than others. But the key is not wasting time on things that you feel pressured to do because of societal norms or because you’re too lazy to do anything different.
