  • What features are you missing in Finamp? I would say it's pretty freaking good. Although I don't have any experience with Plex and its clients.

  • Fuck me.

  • I just want to say that I love systemd. Working with services and timers is just a pleasure. Handling dependencies is sooo much easier. This is just my opinion, but yeah, I can't imagine dealing with SysV in 2025.

  • For terminal I currently use JetBrains Mono. I also used Fira Code and Source Code Pro in the past.

In GUI apps I use Inter right now. Previously used Roboto for a long time.

  • This is so sad, I'm sorry. Sending you virtual hugs.

  • Thanks for fantastic work!

  • Sometimes I wonder if anybody even is absolutely one or the other at all times and circumstances.

Well, absolutely not. I thought it's pretty obvious that this is more like a scale were you fall somewhere between one and the other. Also, those words don't really have any rigorous definitions.

  • Somehow NixOS really is like a fucking crack. I had like a 6 months non-stop hyperfixation about configuring everything using NixOS and Home Manager. Almost every evening. Now I have a polished setup of my personal and work laptops, homelab server and a VPS. And I have no regrets, this thing is amazing.

  • Work on Free Open Source Software. Seriously, I fucking love software engineering and I can't really imagine doing anything else with my life. In fact, that's kinda my current plan - work towards financial independence and then work on things that matter to me, on my own terms. I really hope I won't get burned out somewhere in the process.

  • What happens when 4,500 people ask for the same feature? At Firefox, we build it.

I mean, it's very very cool that they decided to add that feature. But pretending that they carefully listen to the user's voices and eagerly implement their suggestions... Come on...

  • Yeah, what the heck is this capitalization about?

  • I would spend unstructured time with you

I love this. It's the most true sign of me being truly comfortable around someone else.

I would also research the shit out of any problem for people for which the above is true.

  • I see. Now that I think about this, it wasn't so nice for the first year afer breaking up with my ex. Still, I enjoyed it before and now I enjoy again.

    Thanks for the explanation!

  • But I love this feature.

Is it universally hated or something like that? I had no idea.

  • This is the first post mentioning it I'm seeing. I literally just found out because of it.

  • I'm so with you. I don't think I know a single person who has seen Breaking Bad and didn't like it. Meanwhile I hated it.

  • One time someone gave me an edible which I later estimated to be somewhere around 200 - 300 mg. I've never done anything more than like 50 mg at this point. Boy, was it a bad night. I was sitting in a corner and I felt bad but I had no fucking idea wether I'm way too hot or very cold. Also, I felt like my heart was racing. The next day I checked records from my Garmin watch and sure enough, my heart rate at this moment was 160 even though I was sitting completely still. I read about stuff like this before so I knew what's happening and I did not panic but it was extremely uncomfortable.
