The entire point of this thread is that you have to live within your means. If you are going into debt to pay for delivery then either get another job or do ordering delivery. Generally in these types of instances you have more time than money. Especially in times of uncertainty you should be spending under your means so that you can save money on the event something happens.
I almost entirely agree with you. This should never have gotten to the point it did. If after the first time they said to provide an alternate payment I would say they wouldn't even necessarily need to give any credit. The manager 100% should have taken over the call after at most an hour. My only issue with this was them knowing this was a problem and then saying to just try again. That's when fault moved over to the airline. If the person didn't have the money to pay for a 3rd flight that's not their fault and the airline should handle that somehow.
Again, if it failed once I would agree. It didn't though, they told them to try again which then moves at least partial blame back to them. They also have credit which isn't a direct loss of that amount of money. I'm not saying they needed to to everything they did but if I were in that position I would expect the company that told me to run the payment again to be held responsible for it not working again, at least partially. This could even just have been saying, we'll book the tickets and when you get the money back charge you again.
That doesn't change the fact this is clearly a known issue from AA and they continue to let that payment method get used. It's their fault and on them to resolve because of that. Especially after they said to just try again.
I used to never charge my phone and only charge the batteries. Then just swap them out when they got low. 1 battery charging, 1 in pocket charged, 1 in use in phone. It was very convenient to never have to think about the battery life. Less useful now but I could see some people still wanting that flexibility.
Only the Democrats are under investigation so that should still show all the Republicans, right? (Though any Democrats on the list shouldn't be protected either)
Trump is completely right, he should do his favorite thing and one up Obama and give everyone Medicare. That would not only show that he's a better president than Obama ever was it would really piss off those insurance companies that he hates so much.
You can't change the price like that and expect nobody to call you out.
