Yeah... no. Everyone else is just as thinking and conscious as you are. I promise. You sound like Elon Musk talking about "npcs". They may not think about all the same things as you, in all the same ways as you, but they are full humans with the same agency as you. We can't go around dehumanizing people.
My dad died 5 years ago. He was not a perfect man, but he was good. He loved his kids more than anything. He died because of a medical procedure that he was too scared to tell us the details about. I miss him a lot. He never got to know that he had a second daughter, but i am certain he would have loved and supported me through my transition.
Maybe its just because i'm poly, but this reeks of unhealthy suspicion and insecurity. Don't get me wrong, cheating is bad and this post probably comes from first hand experience, but it just seems controlling.
He/they and they/he are basically the same. Some people use the order to denote a preference, so He/They would be like "call me either one, but use He more often."
Words can be harmful even if you don't mean them to be. If the slur doesnt apply to you, you should not be using it. If it does apply to you, there is a discussion to be had, but i still avoid using the slurs that apply to me in most cases because they rarely have a positive effect on the point or joke i am making.
It is expected that the gm will tweak things here and there for whatever reason, its part of their job. Its considered a major faux pas for a player to look at the statblocks of monsters you are fighting.
I ran the first session of my new Pathfinder campaign last night. It went great! My background music was on point, and i think my players are adjusting well to the new mechanics i'm trying out in this one.
