Apparently it's all up to Peter Jackson. From wikipedia:
In March 2018, Spielberg reiterated the above, saying that "Peter Jackson has to do the second part. Normally, if all goes well, he will soon start working on the script. As it takes two years of animation work on the film, for you, I would not expect to see it for about three years. But Peter will stick to it. Tintin is not dead!"
Actually, it'd be really neat if Steven Spielberg revisited "The Dig", the Lucasarts point and click game. Spielberg originally wanted for it to be a movie, but IIRC he wasn't sure the special effects was up to snuff at the time, so it became a game instead.
In this case avoiding news from the United States of America is an easy fix as this community is literally called "usa@lemmy.ml". It's very easy to block.
We just call this style of icecream for "tricolore" here in Denmark, which works for both the Italian and Fr*nch flag ("il tricolore" / "le drapeau tricolore"). Sometimes also "regnbueis" or "rainbow icecream".
I'm certain there are lots of anaerobic bacteria that would pick human bodies clean in space, and who wouldn't love to get a hold of some space rope as well 😅
If you want to share a prefix with Bottles, the only way I've found that works is by creating a bottle in Bottles first, then share the prefix folder with whatever else, and the updates to the system registry etc. will be shared.I rarely launch stuff with vanilla wine, it's mostly through Heroic Game Launcher or Bottles, but like I described above, as long as I create the wine prefix with Bottles first, sharing said prefix is fine.
As for moving to Bottles from an already existing prefix, I don't know. You could try just copying and overwriting the prefix that Bottles create and see if it works.
Yeah, I use it as a "downsing rod" as well. Points me in the right direction, but I still prefer verifying stuff myself by going to the proper pages. It's often I find out that the LLM is just plain wrong.
I tried reading up on this whole thing, and my understanding is that Gyrovague, tired of archive.today bypassing paywalls, decided to dox who the owner of archive.today is. Counterarguments that the info "was already out there" was made, yada yada, and then Gyrovague's blog began getting DDoS'ed and edits on archive.today would replace names with Gyrovague's to make them appear as someone into CSAM.
DDoS'ing is a bit childish, but it's the internet, what weapons besides it do you really have.. Oh right, if you're an archiving site like archive.today is, I guess you could tamper with all your data to make it appear as if the person you're DDoS'ing is a pedophile.. Riiight. So there's no way of trusting the accuracy of the data on archive.today anymore, it's literally tainted, talk about shooting oneself in the foot, or perhaps more apt: Cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.
