ARRRRHHH!!!

  • Immediately drops credit card on the counter for a membership!

  • My partner and half his family have this gambling bug. You can see it in their eyes. You can see it when they win (not that often.) You see it in the veiled "next time we will win" excuses when they lose (most of the time.) I am glad I don't have ....this vice.

  • OMG, I am so excited for this. 🥚

  • I went all in and it gave me brain freeze. Best vacation ever!

  • Her recommendation means nothing to me. Anyone who calls Pelosi her momma bear is repulsive.

  • Use the app Brokada 5 or the paid one Brokada 6. I use the free version, tells you if an app has trackers and what they are, blocks bad ones.

  • Not only was this a really bad movie (the Dwarfs!?!) but they also cast an outspoken pro-genocide actor as the evil queen (fitting.) Way to go Disney!

  • I agree with your point about it inspiring ...better film making and originality, that is sorely needed. However, to see a film doesn't mean getting back into the theater, especially since theaters started dying/declining even before COVID, dating back in the early 2000's. Great films aren't going to save movie houses. Streaming took away all the downsides of seeing a film; cost, audience annoyances, bad food and travel time to see one. They will still be around, like drive-in theaters were for film buffs and nostalgia.

  • OMG, that is funny. Yeah, when they do this sort of camera one take style with drama series, it works.

  • It was a really well done movie, interweaving a main story with interesting characters, interweaving time periods, an homage to blues and some blue's heroes, and at the heart lies a classic horror genre made fresh. This one took me by surprise. I plan on watching it a second time, just to recapture its essence again.

Now with that said, did it really rescue the film industry? I say no. One great one amongst a flow of mediocre movies you would wait and see at home, does not save the day or the movie theaters.

  • It is a good series, well written and the camera style, which is a lot like 'The Bear', really puts you in the drama. Very well acted, the kid should win all kinds of awards. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be, which was a detective style show/series, oh no. It was snapshot of a something tragic in a family...and you are right there with them.

  • No, lots of us. Who wants to be the first to confront them and tell them the truth? One of our family members just had one, sent out photos. I swear, it looked like a 97 year old man. It got lots of likes. 🤷‍♂️ I made the comment to my partner that it must of been over-baked.

  • These two are the equivalent of staged actors. They are role playing progressive, far left politicians. They vote for and are neo-liberals, always. They both support Israel/Zionism/genocide, despite whatever rhetoric they speak.

  • FBI and CIA are behind a lot of the human trafficking, so word-salad, word-salad, "protect."

  • A confusing term. All the left leaning terms have been corrupted by the MSM and the uni-party system. I like to say neo-con/neo-liberal, pretty much both the same, to identify the left and right. There aren't any real far left/old school liberalism/pro-worker in the democratic party, as much as the uni-party and MSM will tell you there is. They are now mostly independents. The neo-liberals would like you to believe AOC, Bernie and hand full of others are their progressive "left libs" but they are not. They are neo-liberals. Anyone telling you to vote for the neo-liberal candidate....is a straight up neo-liberal despite whatever game face they are pretending to play.

  • It is about time. I use Waterfox because of their global menu support. Lets hope they bring this to Thunderbird next.

  • Which is why those voters will always be stuck in the uni-party hell. Throwing any vote at these neo-lib/neo-con parties is literally voting against your own self interest, because they are working for the elites/oligarchs. I would classify this 'vote for XXX no matter what' mentality as a 'user error.'
