  • All the seeds have been successfully planted. Fingers crossed for some decent germination. I'll have a couple more beds available once the tomatoes finish.

  • After a month of LG giving me the run around on a repair to my vacuum cleaner I went back via Harvey Norman and had the issue fixed in a couple of minutes. I am finally able to get back to a proper cleaning schedule. It is frustrating that so many big companies now have such abysmal customer service.

  • 'sup?

  • Another glorious looking day out there today. Which is good, because I have lots of gardening planned. I sorted out my seeds & did a bit of garden bed prep yesterday, so today will be seed planting day. A variety of onions, root vegetables, brassicas, plus some lettuce and herbs.

  • My teeth are now squeaky clean and my gums have a been declared healthy. The new dentist seems very thorough, all teeth have been thoroughly examined, photographed and x-rayed.

  • After preparing since yesterday, I managed to run late for my dentist appointment.

  • I was planning my day around my dentist appointment, starting to calculate the details of when I need to be ready and how long it will take to get there - then realised it is actually Sunday today and the appointment is tomorrow 🤣

  • I just stumbled across someone on Reddit whose user name is a male version of my real name. They post in the Melbourne sub and have many overlapping interests. I am slightly concerned I have a multiple personality disorder I am unaware of 🤣

  • More cast iron cookware can never be a bad thing.

  • What a happy little felllow. 13/10

  • Scary. Is there any chance fire could have spread up the ducting in the rangehood? If so you might want the brigade to check the roof as a precaution - and you many need to get a report for an insurance claim too.

  • Flu shot aquired. It's always amusing how excited grown adults get at being given a free lolipop.

  • It probably was the same job, they got an updated address after the inital page, it was actually further south. Turned out to not be anything dramatic, just a standard run of the mill accident which got a big initial response due to the initial description.

  • Typical. Mine loves a good holiday and usually waits until I'm away. Especially if I'm doing something awkward like camping somewhere that doesn't have toilets.

  • Nothing I can see out that way now. Probably a report of a car accident, that always gets lots of trucks hurtling and most of the time turns out to not be as bad as initial reports indicated and they all turn around and go home again.

  • Should we look into building a lighthouse? The programming req for a bot ended up beyond me, but a pile of rocks with a torch on top seems achievable.

  • And the place has a great name too!

  • She needs a creative hobby. I suggest this

  • My new budget tracking spreadsheet has worked, both the bank and I agree on how much money I have. There were a few initial glitches where I set up some calculations wrong but it appears to now be working. I was resisting changing to the spreadsheet instead of multiple bank accounts to track everything because of the hassle factor, but now that it's done I think it is actually an easier system. It will also make things much more coherent for the bank when I get to the stage of applying for a loan. Just one bank account with minimal transactions instead of 23 with constant transfers back and forth.
