  • That is definietly not posh.

  • I accedentally slept all day and now I don't know if it's time for breakfast or dinner.

  • Wind's howling.

  • Ballarat

  • 🩸🦗🦗🦗

  • I have a list of things I am planning to cook on my days off that I think will far exceed the actual time I have available. I think I need to triage.

  • My garden rejoices and my newly planted seeds are now in with a chance.

  • That would be one way to get sent home from work.

  • I've made some plans to deal with my oversupply of tomatoes. I'll make some bruchetta mix with the ripe tomatoes and a salsa verde with the green tomatoes. I've made the bruchetta mix before, it's basically tomatoes pickled in wine & vinegar, it also works well with toast & eggs for breakfast, and mixes nicely with mushrooms too.

  • My fruit and veg box this month has pomegranites! Now I just have to figure out what to do with them...

  • I've put my final Coles order in for pickup next week, as I don't trust them to deliver to deliver to the right address or to make good if they don't. That will use up the credit for my last mis-delivered order that I had to fight tooth and nail to get, and will be my last ever shop with Coles. After this I will have officially broken up with Coles and intend to go No Contact. Definitely an acrimonious breakup.

  • Nice clear and still weather for burning things. There area lot of farmers burning off large areas of stubble at the moment so there is definitely a lot of smoke around everywhere.

  • A salmon burger and chips please.

  • I tried one of my salmon burgers in the air fryer. It cooked alright but did ooze a lot of unsightly protein goo that looked like egg white. I scraped it off and Miss Meow thought it was top tier food and happily ate it all.

  • Woo Hoo! My credit card application has finally been accepted.

I have a bunch of payments I have come out of the credit card each month and was starting to think I wouldn't have time to change them to the new card for next month. I've already temporarily changed some of them that come out early next month to my other card just in case, but it only has a tiny limit. The new approval has come just in the nic of time.

Moral of the story: it's generally a good idea to wait for your new card to be approved before cancelling the old one. But not sorry I didn't wait, Coles is definitely on my 'do not deal with' list and I am great at holding a grudge, even into 'cut off my nose to spite my face' territory.

Edit: dammit, I realised the card details in the app are not for the new credit card, the are the debit card attached to the transaction account. I've been able to set up the rent payment via BPay in the app, the rest I've had to temporarily change to direct debits pending the new card arriving in the mail. Oh well, not exactly the worst problem in the world to have.

  • Is this available?

  • Another lovely day and I had to go to work. 🙁

If anyone has a spare couple of million dollars lying around so I can retire it would be much appreciated.

  • All the seeds have been successfully planted. Fingers crossed for some decent germination. I'll have a couple more beds available once the tomatoes finish.
