  • This would only be the 24 hour “news” networks that deliver entertainment and opinion under the guise of factual information. Local newscasts don’t often do this. However there are some ownership groups out there that try to model themselves after the big cable companies.

  • I agree that it’s just going to be a way for everyone to get higher premiums - but it would also be a way for diabetics to get life saving medication without needing to skip the groceries. That’s a pretty urgent problem. Premiums will go up one way or another.

  • Troops and some others will work without collecting paychecks. Others will not work and get back pay for all the time they missed when we come back to work. So… as long as it doesn’t last more than a week or two and it will just feel like a paid vacation to some of us.
