  • It looks slick and it's a good idea, congrats ! Here's what I have done so far:

    Change the nt_bookmarks: it works, but I noticed that for my self hosted dockhand instance on the lan, it doesn't retrieve the favicon.ico. maybe because the URL is http://192.168.1.39:7878/ ? http://192.168.1.39:7878/favicon.ico displays the icon in firefox

    Change the wallpapers: i guess you only limit to 3 so the newtab is not sluggish, I wish I could randomise from my wallpaper folder but maybe not possible due to how Firefox loads the picture for some reason ?

    Next up: switch from Japanese to Cantonese

    The main advantage to me is that they wouldn't compress my glasses against my skull so much. I currently have Razer Nari (no, not on the head please !) and they compress my glasses so much that my skull is kind of curved in now at these points.

  • Je suis sur cachyos depuis un an et honnêtement, c'est un tailored arch. Une rolling distro, mais certains package, notamment proton etc pour le going sont configurés par cachy. Une sorte de arch assistée quoi.

    J'ai eu un PB d'update du kernel fin janvier qui m'a force a boot sur un live USB, chroot dans mon disk et relancer l'upgrade du kernel. Un peu de frayeur mais rien de plus.

    Pour moi c'est clairement un upgrade par rapport a debian. Et comme c'est arch, tu as pas mal de flexibilité pour les applis que tu veux

  • If only the tax we pay was used for healthcare, education and basic social needs like public transports. Instead, to finance wars or other ideology, these budgets are cut. Taxes end up fueling bullshit like ice raids, ballrooms, company buyouts and what have you...

    That said I wonder how the social construct is maintained in new Hampshire without taxes. Does that mean no public school or hospitals (or maybe those are financed at the federal level ?)
