  • I got around it, make a new windows/OS login, VPN and you can get around the ban. Exact same thing happened to me 4 accounts, accidentally posted on one of my other accounts that was banned in the sub and they hit me with ban evasion.

    Is not an IP ban as far as I can tell, they are using something to get a digital finger print of you current login/browser/etc. I suspect Pixel but can't confirm. But I flip the VPN to another city prior to logging in on the new account and switch it back when I log off reddit to my main OS account just in case.

    Its been about 2 weeks and the new account is running fine, although I don't bother to use it and stick to Lemmy now...
