  • Here is the thing. If they win, it's great for them. However, all the other companies are currently updating their legal documents to reflect that they will get any forms of reimbursement and not be passing them on to the consumer. Not only that, but they are not planning on reducing the price of any of the products. So, even if the tariffs dissappear, they still win.

The only way to win the game is to not play it.

  • Weird, I have had this conversation.

  • I do it to get pizza from my favorite pizza joint. It only delivers within a 5 mile radius and I live 10 miles away.

  • Did anyone check under Trump's desk?

  • No shit Sherlock!

  • Opposite sides of a coin look different, but it is always the same coin. If you want change, you need to vote for people and not their party.

  • I give this response a B-.

  • Christians as a whole are not evil. I will concede that there are a number of evil people who claim to be Christian. This particular man is not a Christian either, he is the antichrist in every way that matters.

  • Yes, absolutely. My doctor refuses to prescribe more than a month at any time. So I literally have to go to the doctor physically every month and be drug tested like a fucking felon on parole. Not only that but the state limits how much can be distributed to me. So, even if I got a 3 month subscription the pharmacy can't fill it.

Not only that, but the office refuses to schedule a reoccurring appointment. Why does that matter? Because the doctor is booked for at least 3 months. So, now my choice is to either stop taking my meds or get them for one month and spend 2 months waiting to get a new prescription.

It's a bunch of complete bullshit designed to squeeze more money out of me and my insurance company. Unfortunately, there is no way around it.

"Healthcare" in the US is a joke. It's not healthy or anything resembling care. It's about stealing as much of patient's paycheck as possible while trying to avoid malpractice lawsuits. I know this because I work in Healthcare and I have heard the conversations.

  • How meta...

  • No.

  • I don't think Microslop really needs to sabotage Firefox. Firefox is doing a really good job of shooting their own selves in the foot.

  • So, I am a remote worker in Healthcare. Obviously, I need to use a VPN to connect to work to ensure that communication is secure. But because I have a job that requires secure access, I am a suspected domestic terrorist?

  • I use box breathing to combat the panic attacks that I get when I am on my meds too long. Never thought about using it to "reset". To be honest, it sounds like you are doing mini meditation sessions (which also helps if you can learn to hyper focus on nothing).

  • He was Jay walking.

  • Pretty much exactly what I expected.

  • Yep, you can't charge money in perpetuity if you solve the actual problem. Not only that, but bees will eventually become reliant on the product. This is how the US Healthcare system works as well.
