  • Only if Muppet Deadpool still breaks the 4th wall. Otherwise, keep DP and everyone else is Muppets

  • Estimated bills are labeled as such, and directions are given for providing an updated amount. Also, since they tell you what the charge per unit is, there's nothing to stop you from doing the math yourself and sending more than the estimate in anticipation of the estimate being wrong.

  • "The pen is BLUE!"

  • Forgot "Fuckface von Clownstick"

  • Increased seatbelt usage correlates to increased cancer rates.

  • "I don't care who or how my kid loves, but so help me if they become a cop..."

  • Considering the solar system is rotating around the center of the Milky Way at ~450,000 miles per hour, 50 years would have you some 197 billion miles from Earth. This is about 13x the current distance of Voyager 1 (15.6 billion miles).

  • See: Destiny and Telesto.

  • "At will" is the employment one regarding being able to be terminated without cause (as long as it's not for a protected reason). "Right to work" is the one about not being required to join a union. But still, your point is valid.

  • I mean... some people pay just to watch someone else put yogurt in someone's interior.

  • I make no comment about the merit of your argument either way, but hot damn you love to see the passion!

  • The ACA wasn't "watered down in the name of bipartisanship". The public option was removed because that's the only way Joe Lieberman, the 60th vote in the Senate, would vote for it. And yes, what initially came out of committee was not as progressive as we wanted, but if Lieberman wasn't even going to vote for that, there was no way he was going to vote for M4A.

  • Agreed. With the continued erosion of education, the onslaught of mis/disinformation, the hijacking of our brain chemistry, and the general constant anxiety of trying to exist under late stage capitalism, it's going to keep getting worse.
