  • Oh wow. I vividly remember playing Strife and that was really something else. It really had its own “soul” or charm or however we call it. But I can imagine that owning an original copy at that time must have been a very cool experience.

  • Very first that I bought? Deus Ex. By that time I already played it quite a lot, but I felt that it deserves buying even though I didn’t have any income at that age. Looking back at that seems nostalgic. It had a proper manual and everything. It even seemed somehow “magical”, because as kids we weren’t really used to owning games (as in our “own” games, not just something borrowed from a friend which was usually just burnt on empty CD). Good times.

  • Nie ze by som cakal uplne post-apo ale tak ci tak je podla mna velka sanca, ze by som si tym pohorsil a prebral sa v horsej dobe.

    Dalsi problem vidim v tom, ze ten svet proste bude vyzerat inak a moze byt dost zlozite sa s tym vyrovnat. Predpokladam, ze by to mohol byt dost sok. Nehovoriac o tom, ze teraz ma clovek rodinu, znamych, … To po rozmrazeni uz mat nemusi (a keby aj ano, tak tou dobou uz to budu pravdepodobne ini ludia)

    Zatial co pozitiva popravde nevidim. Okrem klasickeho “mam nevyliecitelnu chorobu a v buducnosti uz ju snad budu vediet liecit”. Kazdopadne beruc do uvahy vsetko co som spominal - asi by som do toho ani tak nesiel.

  • Pokial by som nemal skutocne dobry dovod, tak nedal. Momentalne totiz nemam pocit, ze svet v buducnosti bude vyzerat lepsie. Ked si predstavim, ze by som sa zamrazil 20 rokov dozadu a rozmrazil dnes, tak ma z toho dost… mrazi.

  • Why do people on Lemmy always find a way to make everything about liberals? That’s what I’m getting tired of. Whenever something happens, people come up saying “well yeah, liberals suck”. How is that better than the thing you’re arguing against? If you’re tired of “satisfaction with hypocrisy” of one group, what is your prefered group doing? Is there someone actually doing something about it? Because I only see people writing stuff on internet forums, regardless of their affiliation.
