  • Anyone who ever buys a Melvins album expecting ~12 tracks of riff-heavy, uptempo shredding, unless your first Melvins record was "A Senile Animal" and you just got lucky.

The entire band's sound can't be Honey Bucket, no, and you wouldn't want it to be, but they usually get back to it eventually. "Working With God" had some really doomy stuff.

  • Oh, you two are fantasizing. I was wondering, lmao, because no one is actually doing anything.

Had me checking the news all excited.

  • "Catching Smoke" - King Gizzard

  • There it is!

  • That's kool aid from Jeep back in the day to discredit the Samurai as unfit.

    and it worked

It was fine though, for its time, the Samurai didn't flip any worse than anything else.

  • This.

  • Literally Think of the firearms!

Most people effected by this will be normies browsing for a printer for their kids. No one illegally printing guns will give any kind of a fuck when they have a garage full of DIY printers.

So yeah, it's just another way to spy on people.

  • Not if you think about it longer than two minutes.

Apple has to protect their IP, brand, their own information and their reputation. My identity and professional information is safe behind an iPhone, because they have to be for themselves.

My actual friends, actual social media activity, anarchism, socialist views, contacts, lol, even any discussion had here will never see that screen, no xmpp client, no tor, no yggdrasil, so, who cares what I order pizza and reserve parking spots with?

  • Yeah, I'm sick of it too, I'm a regular THC user and this round, I may bite the bullet and quit entirely. Fuck this entire country.

  • When aren't I?

  • It Follows

The Presence (arguably not a horror flick)

  • no one tell him about November

    https://wakenbakery.net/november-2026-hemp-ban-thc-products/

In November 2025, Congress passed H.R. 5371, which rewrites the federal definition of hemp to use total THC instead of just delta-9. This means THCA — which converts to delta-9 when heated — now counts toward the legal threshold. The law also caps finished products at just 0.4mg total THC per container, which would make even a single 5mg gummy illegal.

    What Products Are Affected?

    • THCA flower — Raw hemp flower that converts to THC when smoked or vaped. Sales have surged 340% since 2024.
    • Delta-8 and delta-10 THC products — The gas station gummies and vapes that exploded in popularity.
    • Hemp-derived delta-9 gummies and edibles — The legal edibles sold at cannabis cafes and online.
    • HHC products — Synthesized from hemp-derived CBD.
    • THC beverages — Infused seltzers, coffees, and lemonades.
  • I don't trust any of them, and I don't trust Motorola.

My next phone will be an Iphone, treated like an appliance; no more info given than necessary to order a pizza, call my boss, navigate this dystopian wasteland, and see how much fiat is in my wageslave account.

Time to kick it like it's 2007 and rock a laptop 24/7.

  • one dude holding an XMPP sign in the back

    "we see you, buddy!"

  • Moved my Desktop to Devuan yesterday, seems fine, doing the rest of my systems next week. Fuck em.

  • XMPP devs: "we're right here, guys"

  • Yep, even if this one doesn't pass, give it five years. I have no hope left, humanity can't stand up or fight against anything. I'd download Devuan or Artix and get familiar and settle in, better prepped than sorry.
