  • I like the dark parts, they go well with your purpose like you described it.

It's the bright parts where I'm not sure. As it is, it feels cloudy, overcast,, but you said there was plenty of light (and the car's windows are hinting at a bright sky too). I would try to allow stronger brightness = more contrast in the upper regions, and then see if it helps or not.

  • Well, if paganism (the thing, not the user) is laughed at, then why not the anti as well.

Having said that, with this username it is probably just a troll.

  • So where in my little text did you stop reading? 😇

  • That's because Europe is soo terribly slow with allowing these robo cars. They are so much better than humans. Humans suck at driving. Once when we have all the robo cars here, you will see the numbers finally going up again!

  • If you have your steak a little burnt already, then you can't fix that with more heat.

  • When cars are sacred :)

  • ignoring

    US

    So what.

  • Not possible when somebody has been seriously injured.

  • cities' governments are elected.

...by big tech (just sometimes (hopefully))

  • You should set up a webcam and a continuous stream on youtube :-)

  • a cyclist in San Francisco sued the Google-owned company after she was seriously injured when one of the brand’s driverless taxis stopped in a cycle lane and a passenger opened its back door, striking the cyclist

Well, in Germany the cyclists would have the law 100% on their side and win every case.

is “normal practice” for the autonomous vehicles

And if it is done deliberately (repeatedly), then the car's operator is in the area of criminal law.

  • Some very reasonable points, but I do not support what you say about C itself.

But learning C is more about learning about the backend of how programming languages work (pointers, heaps/stacks, memory allocation and cleanup, etc.)

A bunch of languages work this way, and then you can understand them better if you have learned C before.

But other languages simply don't work this way.

This is not specific about C, it is just coincidentally that the creators of newer languages had learned their C before, and then rebuilt some of the basic concepts into their new languages.

Java is also a common language in the industry and gives you more exposure to Object Oriented Programming.

But then you should actually skip Java and go directly to Kotlin.

Try out Haskell for pure functional and prolog for logic/declarative. C lacks all of those things.

C already has the basics of these concepts, that have been developed further a little later, while C was developed into C++ (which I don't recommend anymore today).

  • LOL but why in the world would BYD say such a thing?

I think the question is not whether a company can thrive without Usa, but rather whether Us americans can stand such a statement.
