  • Dnont use a fairphone but i use opencamera

  • Ha I hadnt even noticed! I saw so many uncredited posts recently I didnt think it was already discussed. Obviously didn't bother searching either. My mistake xD

Tbf I didnt even post this for credit. I just wanted to kickstart a discussion but looks like its already got traction on the other post so im happy

  • Probably the federated nature of it... i know the whole point of it is decentralisation but with the likes of reddit or discord at least you could attempt to have all your content salted or deleted (whether it actually is is another story) from a single server. Knowing anything and everything you post on here will stick around forever no matter what you do, by design, makes me uneasy.

  • Sticky tack

  • Mine got a spicy pillow and i think tore itself apart from the inside... i should find it again!

  • Because it keeps law enforcement out?

  • This seems to be a file permission issue

    On console can you do

    ls -la

Inside the media folder and see the owner user, owner group and permission?

If you want to do quick and dirty test do

    chmod 777 <filename>

Then try and play that file.

If that works, try 775 and then 755 to tighten the permissions a bit

  • Check the logs. There might be suggestion to ffmpeg or decoder configs in jellyfin. The pi probably wont support some of them

  • Gnucash but I've been using it for like 7+ years and I'm kind of set in my ways now

  • One option is to allow routing from vlan to only HA's IP address on your router/ firewall

  • I use wireguard. One network is behind cgnat so i just get that client to connect outbound to the other client to initiate the tunnel (instead of trying to connect to IT) and it works just fine.

I did try tailscale once upon a time but it was so clunky and confusing for me...i just wanted to simply access my entire networks remotely without any overhead

  • Stupid question.

Does this apply to what you write and upload on the Arduino IDE to your boards? Or just whatever you publish on their website/ cloud?

  • Came here to suggest this. Glad its getting the exposure it deserves
