  • Kolovrat is one thing, ss runes were unmistakable and the explanation “that’s our ancestry” made it worse since they’ve used greek symbols instead of the rune, and 2 of them together. Even developers said they had no explanation for that.

That was a nazi dog whistle and gog didn’t even try to distance themselves from nazis, not even saying “nazi bad” after the whole thing.

  • No one ever talks about it, but Ratatouille game on psp was really fun, seemed superior to the home console versions in terms of fun

  • I loved it, got the translated Final Mix version to play it again

  • Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilmaniis a really good rogue like, that actually plays like rouge (the original game), but has a lot of nice gameplay additions, a crazy anime story, permanent upgrades and enough depth to stay interesting

  • Brave Story is a great RPG that doesn't overstay it's welcome and that I've enjoyed a lot. The enemy design was what really got me into it at the time, but the fun story and quality of life features kept me going

  • There is a sequel to it as well.

  • LocoRoco, Patapon, the God of War priquel and Crisis Core

And also Armored Core Formula Front, it's such a weird game in the series.

Oh, and Carnage Heart EXA. I've never managed to actually get far, but it's the most unique mecha game there is. You program your mecha from scratch using logic blocks, and you can make it fully autonomous, fully manual (but you have to program each button press), or a combination of two. It takes as many hours to learn as an Armored Core game would take to complete.

  • Cartridges, same as Switch 2. And high res textures and audio as separate download if needed. Flash memory was getting cheap until AI, 64GB usb 3 drive is still around 10 bucks at retail, so probably 3 bulk, and even cheaper for Sony.

Spinning media will never be as fast, of course, unless every drive comes with a 50GB cache to just load everything once and never seek randomly.

  • Up until the Wii era you could just insert the disc in the console and start playing immediately, it was much more convenient than waiting an hour for a game to download and install. You didn’t need to manage disk space as well. Or login before playing. The industry destroyed the convenience. Now only Switch has an option to start playing from cartridge.

  • He probably decided "meh, good enough" and went on to do other things. And then came back and instead of fixing it flooded the whole thing to start over, abandoned halfway again, set fire to two cities, gave up for a thousand years or so, suddenly remembered he made it and tried sending a message again, but that didn't go well, so we haven't heard from him since.

  • Also other games from zachtronics: TIS-100 and Shenzhen IO

  • Xbox 360 had Call of Duty 2, we are on CoD 36 or something right now, of course Xbox 360 is retro

  • Menos pra Argentina, claro

  • Wellbutrin: felt easier to start tasks without waiting for motivation to hit, gave me headaches

Atomoxetine (Strattera): after a month felt a little less distracted, affected my mood and killed the sex drive, I was too irritable and had problems with relationships.

Methylphenidate (Ritalin): helped me stay awake and a bit less distracted, gave me a rash so I couldn’t take it longer or higher doses to see if taking more would make any difference

Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse): improved focus, kept me awake for 16 hours at a time, kills appetite, dries the throat, causes sweating, makes me want to go to the bathroom more often, makes me feel stressed a bit, tenses muscles in the head a bit too. The least worst out of them all so far, I’m trying to channel how I feel while on it to act more focused on the days when I’m not taking it, and it seems to help a bit.

Most difference for all of them I’ve noticed after I’ve stopped taking them, suddenly realizing that though while taking them it felt like they only helped a tiny bit, it was actually noticeably harder to do things without them.

Still, Lisdexamfetamine was the only one immediately noticeable, just need to watch myself and make sure to get more showers, remember to hydrate and to eat properly, to take it early in the morning and to force myself to sleep on time (didn’t learn how to do that yet though)

  • Shovel knight: bought on sale for maybe 10 dollars and received 4 full games worth of content over the years, and don’t know how many times I’ve played it over several platforms. Bought it a couple more times as well (physical and digital copies). And Spelunky: super cheap, hundreds of hours played, never managed to actually beat it.

Worst was Last of Us: bought a collector’s edition on PS3 because I loved Uncharted, couldn’t force myself to actually finish it. Tried the remaster on ps4 with the same result, although that one was a but more playable

  • Three underwear?

  • There is a bit of a difference since Nintendo can theoretically afford to sell Switch 2 at a slight loss and get the difference back in subscription and store fees, but with steam machine it’s not possible, since if they sell it too cheap people will start buying it as office PCs or something

  • Enter the matrix was fun as hell, at least the first mission with all the bullet time, kung-fu and acrobatics. It wasn't a good game, but it was everything I needed from a Matrix spinoff

  • ADHD @lemmy.world

    First time taking stimulants

  • Steam Hardware @sopuli.xyz

Does the charge limit actually work?
