  • For f*&% sake, I'm using JPEG XL on my website for some high res images that are amazingly well compressed using it, and especially to reduce the repository size on Codeberg. Only now discovered that only my niche main browser, Zen, renders them. What a stupid decision; their compression of high quality images is superior. Perfect to use alongside AVIF which does better in low quality images and illustrations and the like, or PNG which is best at preserving images containing text such as screenshots.

    1. Always use uBlock Origin in a Firefox-based browser (e.g., LibreWolf, Zen).

    Aside from this episode, what often saddens me is the realization that remarkably many men and women are so psychologically damaged to the point that their body dysmorphia leads them to think that this Eraserhead/Chucky-like plastic surgery is more aesthetically pleasing than normal aging. Zoom into this Wikipedia profile picture of Kristi Noem and tell me she doesn't look like a demon.

    In general I do not condone ad hominem attacks, but to be fair, considering the Gestapo shit going on in the USA, the carpet does match the drapes.
